Your Impact We're looking for a talented Pre-Sales Engineer (FSE) to join our Sales Engineering team. In this role, you will:\nAct as a trusted advisor for Acre's cloud, hybrid, and on-premise security solutions across Central Europe.\nDesign secure and scalable solutions that translate customer requirements into practical business outcomes.\nDrive successful customer engagements by partnering with sales teams, customers, and channel partners throughout the sales cycle.\nWhat You'll Do In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:\nLead technical pre-sales engagements by delivering tailored product demonstrations, technical workshops, and presentations for both technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers.\nManage and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs), defining success criteria and ensuring customers can confidently validate proposed solutions.\nDevelop solution architectures and deployment models, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), architecture diagrams, integration designs, and infrastructure recommendations.\nSupport bid and tender activities by contributing technical content for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and customer cybersecurity questionnaires.\nSupport the sales team, channel partners, distributors, and system integrators on product capabilities, best practices, and security compliance requirements.\nRepresent Acre at industry events, trade shows, working groups, customer workshops, and partner events.\nProvide market and customer feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to help shape future product development and regional strategy.\nWhat You'll Bring To succeed in this role, you'll need:\n5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, systems engineering, deployment engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.\nStrong physical security expertise, particularly in Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and Video Management Systems (VMS).\nA solid technical foundation, including networking, workstation and server operating systems, database technologies, and cloud-native software architectures.\nExcellent communication and consultative selling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for customers and stakeholders.\nProfessional fluency in English, with proficiency in another European language such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Dutch considered highly advantageous.\nA degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nIndustry experience and certifications and vendor certifications are considered a strong advantage.\nCultural agility and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse European markets and customer environments.\nWhat's in It for You We strive to do more than just match your ambitions.
