In this role, you will be responsible for:\nManufacturing engineering support, cost performance, and assurance of supply for access control and intrusion products manufactured at external EMS partners. \nNPI, EMS transfers, component lifecycle management, production test, and manufacturing cost reduction initiatives within the Supply Chain organization. \nWhat You’ll DoIn addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:\nManufacturing & EMS Ownership\nPrimary manufacturing engineering interface for assigned EMS partners.\nEnsure manufacturing processes meet technical, cost, and delivery requirements.\nDrive resolution of manufacturing, supply, yield, or field return driven issues.\nMaintain close alignment with R&D, utilising established platforms such as Arena, Jira & Silicon Expert ensuring robust data quality, consistency, and governance.\nAssurance of SupplyOwn manufacturing related assurance of supply across the product lifecycle.\nIdentify and mitigate manufacturing and component supply risks.\nSupport resilience through EMS to EMS transfers, process/test replication, and alternate BOM strategies.\nPartner with the supply chain business manager, planners, and buyers on capacity, risk, and contingency planning.\nProcess Engineering & TransfersReview and approve process flows, work instructions, and control plans.\nSupport industrialization from prototype through pilot and production ramp.\nLead or support EMS manufacturing transfers including BOM, process, test, and tooling alignment.\nEnsure transferred products meet yield, throughput, and manufacturability expectations.\nComponent Lifecycle & Cost ReductionPerform component lifecycle and obsolescence risk assessments.\nEvaluate alternate components and sourcing options, considering compliance aspects.\nIdentify and implement component and manufacturing cost down opportunities.\nEnsure cost actions do not impact functionality or availability.\n Manufacturing TestDefine and approve production test requirements.\nReview EMS test strategies including Functional Test & In Circuit Test (ICT)\nSupport release and validation of test fixtures and programming tools.\nEnsure test approaches are consistent across EMS partners.\nNPI & Change ManagementSupport prototype, pilot, and ramp builds at EMS partners, validating golden samples.\nEnsure manufacturing readiness for product launch.\nParticipate in change reviews assessing manufacturing, supply, and cost impact.\nEnsure changes are implemented consistently across suppliers using ECO.\nWhat You'll BringTo succeed in this role, you'll need:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.\n5+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS environments.\nExperience working with multiple EMS partners.\nProven NPI and manufacturing problem solving capability.\nInternational travel as required.\nWith Preferred:Experience with access control or intrusion products.\nExperience with EMS manufacturing transfers.\nExperience delivering manufacturing or component cost reductions.\nWhat’s in It for You\nWe strive to do more than just match your ambitions - when you join Acre, you’ll have access to a range of exciting opportunities:\nBe part of a disruptor - Help move security forward with a company that challenges the status quo and redefines industry standards.\nLearn from industry leaders - Work alongside experts and innovators driving real change in security technology.\nDrive meaningful impact - Your work will directly contribute to pioneering security technologies that protect businesses and communities worldwide.\nAdvance your career - Access professional development opportunities, including training programs, mentorship, and industry events.\nEnjoy competitive rewards - We offer a competitive compensation package, performance-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits program that reflects your contributions.\nJoin the Future of Security\nAt Acre, we’re moving security forward.
