Examples include:\nWork under the guidance of experienced software engineers and technical team members.\nAssist with interpreting, developing, and implementing software requirements.\nSupport software design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.\nDevelop or update software requirements-based test cases and verification procedures.\nParticipate in software unit, integration, and system-level testing.\nSupport pre-integration and post-integration testing activities.\nAssist with software verification and branch coverage analysis.\nInvestigate, analyze, and help resolve internal and external software problem reports.\nDocument test results, technical findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.\nSupport the development and maintenance of internal software tools.\nUse configuration management and change management tools in accordance with established engineering practices.\nCollaborate with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Manufacturing, Quality, and other Software Engineering teams.\nParticipate in technical reviews and software process improvement activities.\nContribute to the development and support of embedded software, application software, test software, or engineering tools.\nPerform other software engineering assignments aligned with your academic background and the needs of the assigned team.\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.\nExpected to have completed at least two years of undergraduate study before the internship begins.\nFoundational knowledge of software development concepts, programming, and problem-solving.\nAcademic, project, or practical programming experience in at least one programming language.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nEffective verbal communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-based engineering environment.\nAbility to learn new programming languages, development tools, technologies, and engineering processes.\nAbility to work full-time and onsite at the assigned Acron Aviation location for the duration of the internship\nThis position may require access to information, technology, software, or hardware that is subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations.
