improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation, AI-enabled tools, and verification efficiency enhancements\nMentor engineers and provide technical guidance to offshore Development and V&V team members\nSupport onboarding of new team members, including tool access, process training, and development environment setup\nSystems and Software Verification\nDefine, review, and execute verification activities for system requirements, interface requirements, and integration requirements\nDevelop and execute requirements and requirements-based testing, analysis, inspections, and reviews in accordance with certification objectives\nAuthor and maintain systems requirements, test procedures, test cases, automated test assets, test reports, and verification artifacts\nPartner with systems development teams to investigate coverage gaps, resolve anomalies, and close certification findings\n Certification and Compliance Support\nSupport certification activities in accordance with FAA and EASA expectations\nParticipate in Systems Reviews (SR) and Stage of Involvement (SOI) audits and certification reviews\nPrepare and review certification evidence packages and compliance documentation\nAuthor or review requirements, verification plans, procedures, test reports, traceability data, coverage reports, and certification support documentation\nEnsure requirements and design evidence is complete, traceable, and audit-ready\nRequirements Traceability and Defect Management\nMaintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, design artifacts, source code, tests, verification results, and problem reports\nUtilize approved requirements, configuration management, and defect tracking tools\nLead defect triage activities for software and integrated system anomalies\nSupport root cause investigations, corrective action verification, and objective evidence collection\n Cross-Functional Leadership\nCoordinate across systems, software, hardware, quality, configuration management, certification, and program teams\nLead technical reviews, readiness reviews, and status meetings\nCreate clear work instructions and tasking packages that enable consistent execution across distributed teams\nProvide regular status reporting, metrics, risk visibility, and closure plans to program and engineering leadership\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline\n8-12 years of experience in avionics systems verification, software verification, IV&V, or embedded systems validation within regulated environments\nWillingness and ability to travel internationally as required to support engineering, certification, and program activities.\nExperience leading small to medium-sized engineering teams, work packages, or supplier-delivered activities\nStrong knowledge of ARP-4754A and systems lifecycle verification activities\nFamiliarity with ARP4754, DO-178 and DO-254 concepts and systnes/hardware/software integration environments\nExperience supporting certification programs involving FAA, EASA, or equivalent regulatory authorities\nHands-on troubleshooting experience within avionics or embedded systems environments\nExperience using requirements, configuration management, and defect tracking tools such as: \nIBM DOORS\nMatlab\nWindchill\nClearCase/ClearQuest or equivalent tools\nStrong verbal and written English communication skills\nExperience using automation and AI tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency\nDemonstrated a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to evaluate processes and implement more effective ways of working\nAbility to adopt and promote automation and AI tools to improve team speed, quality, and execution\nPreferred Additional Skills\nExperience supporting offshore engineering delivery models and external engineering partners\nExperience working directly with HCL or similar engineering service organizations\nFamiliarity with ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-330\nKnowledge of avionics communication protocols, including: \nARINC 429\nMIL-STD-1553\nARINC 664 (AFDX)\nCAN\nEthernet\nSerial interfaces\nExperience with SIL, HIL, and avionics integration laboratories\nExposure to AI-enabled engineering tools and workflow automation\nCurrent valid U.S. business visa (B1/B2 or equivalent) and ability to travel internationally on short notice.\nPrevious experience supporting global engineering programs requiring travel to customers, certification, or company sites.\nCandidates who already possess a valid U.S. business visa (B1/B2 or equivalent) are strongly
