Responsible for ensuring the company’s financial reporting is in conformity with US GAAP and IFRS standards as well as evaluating and implementing new accounting policies. Develop harmonized internal management reporting and key performance indicators.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nProvide staff leadership, management, and oversight to include selection, performance management, career development and workload management in support of both short-term and long-term project goals.\nLead the timely preparation of the monthly financial consolidation and generation of internal financial statements.\nEvaluate IT system improvements to refine the efficiency, robustness and accuracy of financial consolidation activities\nPrepare written analysis of monthly results comparative to budget, projections and prior year\nAssist in the standardization and preparation of the company’s annual financial Budget, projections and periodic cash forecasts\nAnalyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.\nAssist in the development of company-wide key performance indicators\nMaintain current knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and take a lead role in implementing accounting policy changes as required\nOversight of the accounting operations of domestic and international subsidiaries, control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures\nEvaluate and implement internal control procedures to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results\nSupport the annual financial audit with external auditors\nEnsure the company follows local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings\nAssist in due diligence for acquisitions and integration of accounts, policies and procedures and as needed integration of ERP systems of acquired businesses into the parent company’s systems\nSupport the CEO and President on special assignments, reports and analyses.\nUnderstand and adhere to all Acrow’s policies and applicable laws\nTravel to other Acrow Locations, domestic and international as necessary\nPerform other duties as required\nSkills and Knowledge:\nExperience in a mid-market company or division of a large corporation. Experience at a national or large regional public accounting firm will be considered in meeting this requirement.\nExperience in a manufacturing or distribution company.\nWorking knowledge of advanced financial and business enterprise software systems. \nProficient and current knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.\nHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills necessary to work effectively with senior management and across multiple disciplines within the company.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English to perform the responsibilities of the position and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.\nMinimum Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 8-10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience\nPreferred Skills and Knowledge:\nMaster’s degree or MBA\nCPA designation\nExperience with INFOR Visual ERP and Crystal\nKnowledge of IFRS accounting standards\nWorking Conditions:\nWork is typically performed in an office environment which requires proper safety precautions.
