In this role, you'll lead technical initiatives across DataHub Cloud and our emerging enterprise deployment solution, which provides customers with enhanced control and flexibility for running DataHub in their preferred environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership & Architecture\nDesign and implement robust, scalable infrastructure solutions for DataHub Cloud and enterprise deployments\nLead the technical vision for multi-cloud deployment strategies and distributed system integrations\nArchitect monitoring, observability, and alerting systems across diverse environments\nDrive best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and deployment automation\nEnterprise Platform Development\nPartner with product and engineering teams to influence the development of advanced deployment capabilities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to help build systems for seamless installation, upgrade, and rollback processes across various environments\nInfluence the design and help implement comprehensive monitoring and health check systems for distributed deployments\nPartner with engineering teams to help develop self-healing and automated remediation capabilities\nPlatform Reliability & Operations\nEstablish and maintain SLAs/SLOs for both cloud and enterprise offerings\nLead incident response and post-mortem processes to drive continuous improvement\nImplement chaos engineering practices to proactively identify system weaknesses\nOptimize system performance, capacity planning, and cost efficiency\nTeam Leadership & Collaboration\nMentor and guide a team of SRE engineers and collaborate with platform engineering teams\nWork closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure reliable product delivery\nImprove on-call practices, runbooks, and knowledge sharing processes\nDrive cross-functional initiatives to improve overall system reliability\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles\n3+ years of technical leadership experience managing engineering teams\nStrong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools\nProficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration\nExperience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)\nStrong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages\nDeep understanding of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation\nStrong knowledge of networking, security, and database operations in cloud environments\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building and operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms\nBackground in developing customer-facing deployment and management tools\nKnowledge of data infrastructure and metadata management systems\nExperience with service mesh technologies and microservices architectures\nPrevious experience in a customer-facing technical role or working with enterprise clients\nExperience with data governance or data catalog platforms\nWhat You'll Build\nA robust management control plane for enterprise-grade deployments\nAutomated deployment pipelines supporting multiple cloud providers and customer environments\nComprehensive monitoring and alerting systems with customer-facing dashboards\nSelf-service tools for customers to manage their DataHub installations\nDisaster recovery and backup solutions for enterprise deployments\nPerformance optimization and scaling solutions for high-volume data workloads\nBenefits and Perks\nWe invest in people so they can do their best work and enjoy doing it.
