You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work closely with customers and delivery partners to ensure projects are completed safely, to specification and within agreed timescales and budgets.\nThe Role\nYou’ll manage projects from planning and design through to installation, commissioning and handover. Working across customer and site teams, you’ll provide clear leadership, monitor progress and help ensure project delivery meets technical, commercial and safety requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, manage and deliver water industry automation and engineering projects throughout their lifecycle.\n\nDevelop and maintain project programmes, budgets, forecasts and delivery plans.\n\nCoordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.\n\nMonitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and put appropriate actions in place.\n\nManage customer communications, expectations, project meetings and progress reporting.\n\nEnsure project work meets contractual, technical, quality and health, safety and environmental requirements.\n\nOversee project documentation, change control, costs and commercial reporting.\n\nSupport installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities at customer sites.\n\nBuild effective working relationships with customers and delivery partners across the water sector.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nProven experience managing engineering, automation or electrical projects.\n\nExperience delivering projects in the water industry or a related process industry.\n\nUnderstanding of project planning, cost control, risk management and change control.\n\nAbility to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.\n\nStrong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.\n\nA practical, proactive approach to resolving delivery challenges.\n\nCommitment to safe working practices and high-quality project delivery.\n\nWillingness to travel to customer and project sites as required.\n\nDesirable\nExperience with control systems, instrumentation or industrial automation.\n\nKnowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and industry standards.\n\nA project management qualification or relevant technical qualification.\n\nExperience working with frameworks, principal contractors or multiple delivery partners.\n\nJoin Us\nJoin Actemium Automation Hampshire and help deliver engineering and automation projects that support essential water industry services.
