Because we know that, when we work together, we can make a huge difference to bring lasting improvements to vulnerable children's lives.\nAbout the service\nOur Rossorry Grove Supported Accommodation is a purpose built 13 apartment supported accommodation service for young people who were homeless or at risk of becoming so. We work with young people aged 16 to 21 years, many of whom have been in care and / or struggle with significant mental health concerns and substance misuse issues.\nEach young person will have their own self-contained flat and staff work closely with them to support their development of independent living skills and enabling them to move safely into the community.\nHow you'll help to create brighter futures\nAs a Service Co-ordinator, you’ll be:\nManaging a team of Housing Support workers and Practitioners to deliver individually tailored support to young people living in supported accommodation aged 16-21yrs.\n\nMonitoring and reporting on the outcomes of the young people the service supports.\n\nProviding direct and line management of staff, applying appropriate policies and procedures, also sharing knowledge and experience through coaching and mentoring techniques.\n\nProviding reflective practice supervision, ensuring an outcomes focused approach to working with children and young people.\n\nCompleting and managing a 24/7 rota for the service.\n\nDelivering a safe and positive work and service environment through compliance with all safeguarding, safer recruitment, health and safety policy and procedure.\n\nAttend professional meetings including reviews as required.\n\nLet's talk about you\nAs a Service Co-ordinator ideally you will have:\nA relevant qualification at level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Education or another relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience.\n\nA management qualification at level 5 is desirable and we have a development programme to support your professional development.\n\nSignificant post qualification experience of working with children, young people and their families/carers.\n\nExperience of managing and developing a team.\n\nSound knowledge of Safeguarding.\n\nExcellent IT and organisational skills.\n\nA willingness to travel as needed and flexibility to cover an on-call rota.\n\nMaintain registration in line with the required bodies and ensure Action for Children are notified of any circumstances which could affect your registration status.\n\nClosing Date: Tuesday 20th October 2026.\nInterviews are planned to be held week commencing 26th October 2026 face to face in Enniskillen.\nPlease note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.\nTo be eligible for this position you must complete an Access Ni Enhanced Disclosure\nHaving a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.\nA copy of the Access Ni Code of Practice can be found here.\nPolicies on Recruitment of Ex-Offenders & Access Ni Disclosure Handing Policy are also available on demand.\nOur Commitment to Equity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism\nAt Action for Children, we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and able to thrive.
