As a Service Co-ordinator managing a team across South Lanarkshire or South / East Ayrshire, you’ll be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality employability support to young people. Your role is hands-on, varied and deeply rewarding. As well as managing the team you will have the opportunity to work one-to-one with young people to understand their strengths, barriers and aspirations, helping them build confidence and take practical steps towards sustained employment.\nYou’ll manage the design and delivery of tailored employability sessions taking into consideration personal development and essential skills throughout their time with us.\nYou will drive continuous quality improvement, ensuring we meet the expectations of funders and internal management and reporting requirements\nHow you'll help to create brighter futures\nSome key responsibilities of a Service Coordinator role are;\nEnsure that staff monitor, record, and review progress at set intervals, providing additional support as needed to meet goals.\nAssist staff in organising, delivering, and evaluating interventions and programs for children, young people, and families.\nMaintain awareness of Health & Safety regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all service users, staff, and visitors.\nProvide supervision, line management, mentoring, and coaching to staff, partner colleagues and occasional students.\nSupport the CSM in meeting regulatory and legislative requirements for the service.\nEnsure contract requirements and reporting for service delivery are met within relevant timescales.\nMaintain effective working relationships with partnership colleagues.\nManage delegated responsibility for the service budget.\nLet's talk about you\nSignificant post qualification experience of working with young people through a multi-agency environment and achieving positive outcomes through intervention.\nUnderstanding of leadership within the delivery of service user needs assessment, ensuring accurate and update retention of information \nExperience of chairing, supporting and contributing to service/partnership planning meetings.\nExperience of effective people management\nExperience of effective partnership working and outcome/impact reporting\nExperience of demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and an ability to promote the wellbeing and welfare of young people.\nDemonstrable integration of equality and diversity into practice and service delivery.\nDriving licence and access to a car.
