If you’ve built your career in garage doors, construction, or another skilled trade-and have a track record of developing people and improving field performance-this is an opportunity to put that experience to work.\nYou’ll own the day-to-day performance of the installation department, helping crews work safely, complete jobs correctly, and deliver an excellent customer experience. Working closely with our Installation Coordinator, Sales, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams, you’ll keep jobs moving and address challenges before they become costly delays.\nBring your leadership, technical knowledge, and commitment to quality. Help us build a department that delivers results and a team that takes pride in its work.\nWhat You’ll Lead\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead, coach, and develop residential and commercial garage door installers.\n\nSet clear expectations for productivity, workmanship, safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.\n\nProvide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and address performance concerns promptly and professionally.\n\nIdentify training needs and help installers strengthen their technical skills and efficiency.\n\nSupport recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.\n\nBuild a culture where employees receive the support they need and take ownership of their results.\n\nDaily Installation Operations\nOversee daily installation activity, crew readiness, job progress, and completion.\n\nPartner with the Installation Coordinator to align scheduling with crew availability, skill levels, job requirements, and capacity.\n\nConfirm crews have accurate job information, materials, tools, and equipment before arriving onsite.\n\nConduct jobsite visits and quality inspections to reinforce installation standards and support field teams.\n\nResolve installation challenges, callbacks, warranty issues, and rework efficiently.\n\nEnsure completed work is documented accurately and promptly in ServiceTitan.\n\nPerformance & Profitability\nMonitor productivity, labor efficiency, job completion, installer utilization, and installation revenue.\n\nTrack quality, callbacks, rework, and customer satisfaction to identify improvement opportunities.\n\nDevelop practical action plans that improve performance and prevent recurring problems.\n\nManage labor costs and material usage to support installation profitability.\n\nImprove processes that increase capacity while maintaining safety and workmanship.\n\nCoordination, Safety & Customer Experience\nPartner with Sales to clarify specifications, assess jobsite conditions, and address potential installation challenges.\n\nCoordinate with Warehouse personnel to ensure material accuracy, availability, and proper job preparation.\n\nWork with Customer Service and Sales to resolve escalated customer concerns.\n\nKeep leadership informed about staffing needs, department performance, and operational challenges.\n\nReinforce company safety policies, manufacturer requirements, and proper installation procedures.\n\nMaintain high standards for jobsite cleanliness, customer communication, and professional conduct.\n\nWhat You Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience leading installation crews, field operations, or skilled trades teams.\n\nA demonstrated ability to coach employees, establish expectations, and improve team performance.\n\nExperience managing productivity, labor efficiency, workmanship, and operational results.\n\nTechnical knowledge of installation practices, tools, equipment, and jobsite safety.\n\nStrong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and adapt when field conditions or schedules change.\n\nClear, professional communication with employees, customers, and leadership.\n\nConfidence using technology, operational systems, and performance reports.\n\nA valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to jobsites as needed.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nGarage door industry experience, including residential and commercial installation.\n\nServiceTitan experience.\n\nExperience reducing callbacks, improving crew utilization, or increasing installation capacity.\n\nRelevant leadership experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other installation-focused trades is encouraged.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYour impact will show in a team that works safely, communicates clearly, and consistently delivers quality installations.
