This is a contract opportunity for a hands-on professional with experience performing commercial electrical and low-voltage installations.\nThe ideal candidate has 2+ field experience, strong conduit and cabling installation skills, and the ability to support project-based work requiring occasional travel. This role is well suited for a licensed technician who enjoys hands-on installation work and supporting mission-critical infrastructure deployments.\nPosition Details:\n Employment Type: Contractor (6-8 months)\nLocation: Miramar / Southern California\nHourly Rate: $ 56.00\nTravel: Travel up to 50% may be required to support customer locations and project activities\nResponsibilities:\nPerform electrical and low-voltage installation activities supporting telecommunications infrastructure, network systems, and facility upgrades.\nPerform Inside Plant (ISP) installation activities, including cable routing, rack installation, equipment connections, cable management, and labeling.\nSupport Outside Plant (OSP) activities, including pathway installation, cable placement, and infrastructure support.\nInstall and work with electrical circuits, panels, grounding and bonding systems, UPS systems, PDUs, and related infrastructure components.\nInstall and bend EMT conduit, including 1” and 2” EMT, performing 90-degree bends, offsets, saddles, and back-to-back bends.\nPerform cable terminations, certification testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.\nRead and interpret drawings, schematics, and installation documentation.\nEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and customer requirements.\nMaintain a safe work environment while working in construction, telecommunications, and outdoor field environments.\nRequired Qualifications:\nExperience working under a C-7 or similar low-voltage contractor\n2+ years of commercial EMT installation and low-voltage/electrical installation experience.\nExperience working with 1” and 2” EMT conduit, including bends, offsets, saddles, and back-to-back bends.\nExperience installing structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling.\n OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.\nAbility to travel as required to support project needs.\nAbility to safely perform physical field work, including lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and working in various environments.\nClean record and Valid Driver's License (to get on military installments and travel)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting telecommunications, data center, government, or DoD infrastructure projects.\nExperience with BICSI installation standards.\nKnowledge of grounding/bonding requirements and telecommunications infrastructure. \nActioNetis a CMMI-DEV Level 4, CMMI-SVC Level 4, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, HDI-certified, woman-owned IT Solutions Provider with strong qualifications and expertise in Agile Software Engineering, Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security, and IT Managed Services.
