This role will focus on transforming raw data from staging environments into warehouse schemas and developing robust reporting detail tables to support analytics and operational reporting. The ideal candidate has strong PostgreSQL development skills, experience with large-scale data aggregation and multi-source data integration, and expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.\nResponsibilities\nProcess and transform raw data from staging environments into structured data warehouse schemas.\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain detailed reporting tables to support Decennial and ECON data workflows.\n\nBuild and optimize complex PostgreSQL functions, stored procedures, and automated data processing routines.\n\nPerform large-scale data aggregations and integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics requirements.\n\nImplement and manage foreign tables and external data ingestion processes.\n\nOptimize database performance through indexing strategies, query tuning, and execution plan analysis.\n\nDevelop scalable, reliable, and efficient data processing solutions to support high-volume workloads.\n\nCollaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to translate data and reporting requirements into effective database solutions.\n\nIdentify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to data processing efficiency, scalability, and reliability.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. citizenship required.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination.\n\nStrong experience with PostgreSQL, including functions, stored procedures, and complex SQL development.\n\nDemonstrated expertise in data warehousing, including schema design, data transformation, and reporting table development.\n\nExperience automating data processing and managing large-scale data workflows.\n\nProficiency in database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.\n\nExperience with large-scale data aggregation and blending data from multiple sources.\n\nKnowledge of foreign tables, external data ingestion, and data integration techniques.\n\nAbility to design analytics-driven data structures that support complex reporting requirements.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting high-volume government data programs or large-scale statistical data processing.\n\nFamiliarity with Decennial Census or Economic Census data workflows.\n\nExperience optimizing PostgreSQL environments for large datasets and demanding reporting workloads.\n\nExperience developing scalable data warehouse solutions in complex enterprise environments.\n\nActioNet is a CMMI-DEV Level 4, CMMI-SVC Level 4, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, HDI-certified, woman-owned IT Solutions Provider with strong qualifications and expertise in Agile Software Engineering, Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security and IT Managed Services.
