ActioNet is creating a new opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to take an influential role in delivering dependable, user-ready solutions. Working alongside clients and development teams, you will shape testing from design through release, combine manual insight with automation, and help teams deliver with confidence.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPartner with clients and development teams to understand system features and shape effective test strategies.\nCreate comprehensive test plans and robust test cases that promote reliable, user-ready solutions.\nTurn application user stories and use cases into thoughtful manual and automated test coverage.\nContribute throughout the design and development process by identifying defects, risks, weaknesses, and inconsistencies early.\nPerform regression, post-release, and post-implementation testing to help maintain solution quality.\nDocument and communicate bugs clearly, working with development teams to support timely resolution.\nExecute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and share actionable findings.\nBuild baseline and test data that fully support test-case requirements.\nKeep stakeholders informed and deliver accurate, high-quality work on schedule.\nRequired Qualifications\nSeven or more (7+) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role.\nThree or more (3+) years of automated testing experience using tools such as Selenium.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nUnderstanding of the full software development process, including specification, documentation, and quality control.\nFamiliarity with SQL.\nFamiliarity with source-control tools such as TFS or Git and with Microsoft Visual Studio or similar integrated development environments.\nFamiliarity with Agile frameworks and practices.\nBachelor’s degree in a related field.\nMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and able to obtain a Government Public Trust clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Azure DevOps.\nResidence within the Washington, DC Metro area to facilitate local collaboration when needed.\nYou will thrive in this role if you enjoy solving problems, collaborating across teams, and turning requirements into dependable test coverage.
