Candidates with specialized expertise, industry-recognized certifications, and strong Federal contracting experience may be considered at the higher end of the range\nSummary\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer IV to support the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise-scale web applications and database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack web development experience combined with expertise in database architecture, data modeling, ETL, application security, and enterprise reporting systems. This role will work closely with data architects, data scientists, project managers, business intelligence, data quality, and cybersecurity teams to develop secure, scalable, and high-performing applications that meet complex business and technical requirements.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nTypically seven (7) years of professional software engineering experience.\nSeven (7) years of experience as a full-stack web developer designing and implementing enterprise-scale, dynamic, and interactive web applications.\nExperience developing web applications based on business requirements and technical specifications.\nStrong programming experience with modern web development languages, frameworks, and application programming interfaces (APIs).\nExperience developing online data processing and reporting systems.\nExperience implementing web accessibility standards and data security/authentication requirements.\nExperience designing and developing web services.\nExperience analyzing and resolving database, application architecture, and application performance issues.\nExperience with data modeling, database design, database implementation, and database administration.\nExperience optimizing database performance and validating functional and non-functional requirements.\nExperience developing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for organizational data warehouses.\nExperience supporting data warehousing, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence activities.\nExperience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging operational issues in new and existing web applications.\nExperience collaborating with data architects, data scientists, project managers, business intelligence teams, data quality teams, and cybersecurity professionals.\nExperience throughout the software development lifecycle, including automated testing, technical documentation, source code/version control, change management, release management, and configuration management.\nAbility to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective, scalable solutions.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience developing applications using Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar modern programming languages.\nExperience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, .NET, Spring, or similar technologies.\nExperience with RESTful APIs, web services, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.\nExperience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.\nExperience with cloud-based application and database platforms, particularly AWS or Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with cloud services supporting application development, databases, storage, analytics, and ETL.\nExperience with data warehouse and data lake technologies.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar version-control platforms.\nExperience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven or continuous integration practices.\nExperience implementing Section 508/WCAG accessibility requirements.\nExperience with application security, identity and access management, encryption, and authentication technologies.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.\nExperience supporting federal government or other highly regulated environments.\nPreferred Certifications\nAWS Certified Developer -
