The engagement is till 31 August 2029.\nInternal Code: A26382\nWhat will you do?\nThe Business Analyst supports the delivery, enhancement and operations of enterprise digital systems and products. The role serves as the liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into clear, implementable requirements and that delivered solutions meet user, operational and organisational needs.\nConduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and operational challenges.\nAnalyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, digitalisation and automation.\nDocument business, functional and non-functional requirements, process flows, use cases, user journeys and business rules.\nTranslate business requirements into clear epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.\nPerform impact assessments for initiatives, enhancements and change requests.\nMaintain end-to-end traceability from business requirements through solution design, testing and implementation.\nSupport Product Owners and business stakeholders in managing and prioritising the product backlog based on business value, user needs, risk and operational impact.\nRefine and maintain epics, features and user stories to ensure that items are clear, testable and ready for delivery.\nSupport definition of release scope, minimum viable scope and implementation priorities.\nEvaluate enhancement requests, clarify intended outcomes and support recommendation of practical implementation approaches.\nSupport product delivery from discovery and requirements definition through implementation, release and post-release review.\nGather user feedback and operational insights to identify opportunities for product and service improvement.\nParticipate in relevant Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.\nCollaborate with delivery teams to clarify requirements, business rules and acceptance criteria during sprint execution.\nMonitor delivery progress and highlight risks, blockers, dependencies and decisions requiring stakeholder attention.\nSupport sprint and release planning, deployment readiness and business validation activities.\nMaintain backlog hygiene and ensure delivery artefacts remain current throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nContribute to continuous improvement of team delivery practices, templates and ways of working.\nServe as a key liaison among business stakeholders, project teams, vendors and technical teams.\nFacilitate discussions to align stakeholders on requirements, scope, priorities, dependencies and solution approaches.\nCoordinate with vendors on clarifications, implementation activities, issue resolution and enhancement delivery.\nPrepare status updates, presentation materials and decision papers for project, operational and governance forums.\nTrack actions, risks, issues, dependencies and decisions arising from stakeholder discussions.\nDevelop business test scenarios, test cases and validation criteria.\nCoordinate and support User Acceptance Testing, including defect triage, retesting and closure.\nValidate that delivered functionality meets agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.\nSupport release readiness, production validation and post-implementation review activities.\nAssist with operational issue analysis, incident investigation, defect resolution and enhancement planning.\nMaintain relevant business, project, testing and operational documentation.\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\nDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline.\nMinimum five years of relevant experience in business analysis, digital delivery or a related role.\nExperience in requirements elicitation, process analysis, user story development and solution delivery.\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments and using Jira or an equivalent backlog management tool.\nStrong analytical, facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to translate business needs into clear and implementable requirements for technical teams.\nExperience in public sector, healthcare, education, social service or citizen-facing digital systems.\nExperience in customer journey mapping, service design or user experience analysis.\nExperience supporting production systems, operational improvement and enhancement delivery.\nFamiliarity with modern software delivery, DevOps and Microsoft technology platforms.\nBusiness and functional requirements;
