The engagement is 1 year.\nWhat will you do?\nThe Government Digital Products (GDP) Team aims to spearhead the digital transformation of government. Our team aims to design and develop software applications that help government agencies to better serve the needs of the people of Singapore.\nInformation Services Program (ISP) & Engagement & Case Management Program (ECMP) are platform program teams that build core government digital products that power all government agencies for their essential digital services.\nWe are looking for engineers who care about automation and quality, and who enjoy helping other teams deliver software end-to-end. You'll build the platform and tooling that product teams rely on to ship. This role is a great fit for a software engineer with some cloud experience who wants to grow into platform and DevOps work.\nHelp Build and Grow the Platform\nDesign and build systems with security, reliability, and scalability in mind.\nHelp design and build shared platform capabilities - templates, paved paths, and reusable modules that make onboarding new products fast and safe.\nHelp existing products migrate onto the platform as it matures.\nWork with tech leads and fellow engineers to break down problems and find pragmatic solutions.\nAutomate with Code\nWrite infrastructure, pipelines, and monitoring as code - version-controlled, peer-reviewed, and reusable.\nLean on automation to reduce manual, repetitive work.\nSupport Delivery and Operations\nHelp teams ship smoothly through CI/CD and good deployment practices.\nProvision and manage multiple environments, enabling efficient and repeatable application deployments.\nSupport the team's day-to-day operations - monitoring, alerting, and incident management\nAutomate routine operations such as backup, recovery, and patching.\nAs the platform grows, help shape good reliability practices - observability, sensible alerting, and service-level goals.\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\n3-5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on work with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).\nComfortable writing code, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code and other \"as code\" work - pipelines, configuration, and monitoring - rather than application features.\nAn application development background is a plus, but not required.
