The engagement is 12-months\nLocation: 1 Hampshire Road\nCOMPASS (Comprehensive Performance & Analytics for Bus Systems) is LTA's strategic analytics platform for bus operations. It consolidates data from fleet management systems, onboard devices, and operational platforms to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across LTA and public transport operators (PTO). As COMPASS continues to evolve, new initiatives are being developed to enhance bus operations through predictive maintenance and AI-enabled insights. These initiatives require enhancements across application development, system integration, data processing, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and platform operations.\nWhat the officer will be doing?\nResponsible for designing, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and deployment pipelines:\nDevelop automation capabilities to deploy, manage, monitor, and maintain applications and infrastructure.\nDesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management.\nImplement infrastructure-as-code and environment automation practices.\nManage cloud resources and platform services.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD tooling and automation to support software build, testing, integration and release processes\nMonitor and optimise platform availability, performance, utilisation, reliability, and operational health\nImplement security controls and ensure compliance with government security requirements.\nPlan, implement, and monitor system security architecture, including threat and risk assessments.\nConduct vulnerability assessments, system hardening, security reviews, and remediation activities.\nImplement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity measures.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system, application, and infrastructure issues\nCollaborate closely with developers to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle\nCoordinate and work together with other members of the team.\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\nStrong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, Test-Driven Development (TDD) and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications and infrastructure on AWS.\nExperience with GCC environment is advantageous.\nProficiency in at least two programming/scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Javascript, or Java).\nExperience with infrastructureas-code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent technologies.\nExperience with containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with source code management, GitLab workflows, and CI/CD platforms.\nExperience implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions to support platform reliability and operational excellence.\nKnowledge of application security and cloud security, secure coding practices, and DevSecOps principles.\nHands-on experience with vulnerability management, security assessments, system hardening and remediation activities.\nFamiliarity with cloud-native and Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) tools (Prometheus, Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Gatekeeper, Crossplane).\nFamiliarity with enterprise security and secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault, Tenable, Fortify, Sonatype Nexus IQ, AWS security services).\nExperience with AWS services related to identity and access management, networking, monitoring, container platforms, and security\nStrong troubleshooting, incident response, and operational support skills.\nExperience working in regulated or government environments is preferred.\nBenefits\nWhat do we offer in return?\nCompetitive Compensation: Market competitive salary and variable performance bonus aligned to your skills, impact, and contribution.\nBenefits: Outpatient medical, specialist medical coverage and generous customisable flexi benefits, or flexi allowance; life and health insurance, thoughtful perks like special occasions “red packet” and CNY goodies, etc.\nEmployee Wellness: Support for your physical, mental, and overall well-being through year-round initiatives.\nGrowth & Development: Learning programmes, certification support, and a dedicated staff development budget.
