The role involves both software development and hands-on technical troubleshooting across multiple environments, including SIT, UAT and Production.\nThe successful candidate should be comfortable investigating issues across the application stack, understanding AWS infrastructure and networking dependencies, and working with DevOps and infrastructure engineers to resolve end-to-end problems.\nFull-Stack Application Development\nDevelop, enhance and maintain frontend and backend components of the platform.\nInvestigate and resolve application defects affecting portal workflows, resource provisioning and environment management.\nDevelop and maintain backend APIs and application services.\nImplement validation, status tracking, error handling and workflow improvements.\nTroubleshoot frontend, backend and integration issues across SIT, UAT and Production environments.\nSupport regression testing and end-to-end verification following application changes.\nAWS & Cloud Integration\nWork with AWS services and cloud integrations including:\nAmazon ECS\nAmazon EC2 / Auto Scaling\nAmazon S3\nAmazon RDS\nAmazon API Gateway\nAWS Lambda\nAmazon CloudFront\nAmazon Route 53 / Private Hosted Zones\nAmazon ECR\nAWS WAF\nAmazon ElastiCache / Redis\nAWS KMS\nIAM\nVPC and VPC Endpoints\nElastic Load Balancing\nAmazon SES / SMTP\nAmazon OpenSearch / OpenSearch Serverless\nInvestigate provisioning and connectivity issues involving AWS resources and application workloads.\nSupport application teams with cloud configuration requirements such as routing, whitelisting, endpoints, security groups, reverse proxies and workload connectivity.\nInfrastructure-as-Code & CI/CD\nWork with existing Infrastructure-as-Code modules and provisioning workflows.\nTroubleshoot Terraform and infrastructure provisioning failures.\nSupport enhancements to reusable infrastructure templates.\nWork with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.\nInvestigate pipeline failures and application deployment issues.\nSupport container image management and vulnerability remediation.\nWork closely with DevOps engineers on changes that span application and infrastructure components.\nApplication & Platform Integration\nSupport integration and configuration involving:\nNGINX / reverse proxy routing\nREST APIs and API Gateway\nWebSocket connectivity\nAuthentication and authorization middleware\nSingpass / CorpPass integration\nSMTP services\nSFTP\nApplication networking\nContainer-based workloads\nMicroservices\nCross-account AWS connectivity\nThe engineer should be comfortable tracing problems across multiple components rather than limiting troubleshooting to a single application layer.\nSecurity & Vulnerability Remediation\nInvestigate and remediate application and platform security findings.\nSupport VAPT remediation activities.\nAddress container and dependency vulnerabilities.\nSupport NGINX, application dependency and container image upgrades.\nImplement security-related configuration changes such as WAF rules, CSP headers, IP restrictions and access controls.\nWork with security and infrastructure teams to assess findings and implement appropriate fixes.\nDay-2 Support & Troubleshooting\nHandle incidents, bugs, service requests and technical enquiries.\nPerform root-cause investigation for application and provisioning failures.\nTroubleshoot issues across Development, SIT, UAT and Production environments.\nSupport application onboarding and environment provisioning.\nAnalyze logs and deployment results to identify failure points.\nCoordinate with application, infrastructure, DevOps and customer teams to resolve issues.\nSupport production changes and verify successful deployment.\nRequirements\nEssential\nStrong experience in full-stack software development.\nExperience developing and supporting modern web applications.\nGood knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.\nExperience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.\nExperience developing backend APIs and services.\nHands-on experience working with AWS cloud services.\nGood understanding of: REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, Authentication and authorization, Containers, Networking fundamentals, DNS, Reverse proxies, Load balancers, Security groups and firewall concepts (Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines;
