As part of a technically competent and collaborative team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, design, project implementation, operation, and support of technical services - delivering secure, reliable connectivity to end-users across multiple locations and enabling seamless access to the organisation's broad range of applications and digital services.\nIn this role, you will contribute to the delivery of diverse technical solutions that address the organisation's long-term operational needs, whilst managing ad-hoc requests and leading projects spanning office renovations, new site setups, on-premises network infrastructure deployments, and endpoint-related support and services.\nNetwork Infrastructure Engineering\nManage the end-to-end lifecycle of the organisation’s network infrastructure, spanning planning and design through procurement, implementation, and ongoing operations. \nEvaluate and implement new network solutions that enhance the capability, security, and manageability of network infrastructure. \nParticipate as a network subject matter expert in business-specific projects, providing network consultancy and technical support throughout project implementation. \nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to deliver systems and projects, ensuring adherence to budget, technical specifications, and all relevant requirements. \nManage network infrastructure projects, including the procurement of network solutions, coordination with vendors to ensure timely completion of implementation works, and engagement of stakeholders through presentations and progress reports. \nManage AFM on their day-to-day BAU task and projects implementation. \nRespond to and resolve network-related incidents, providing timely updates to stakeholders on investigation findings and remediation actions taken. \nPerform firmware and software updates in accordance with established change management procedures. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and review network architecture.\nFormulate Operation and Support Standards for Enterprise Network Systems to facilitate effective management and review and initiate plans to sustain system functions and capabilities throughout their lifecycle.\nPlan and review project and system maintenance strategies, incorporating Predictive and Pre-emptive \nMaintenance approaches as part of project requirements. \nEnsure network infrastructure setup is compliant with IM8 policies and hardening guidelines. \nHandle IM8 compliance and audit activities, including preparation, responses, and closure of audit findings. \nMaintain reports and provide regular updates on management on project status and operational matters. \nEnsure assigned projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, managing multiple projects concurrently. \nAny agency Ad-hoc task being assigned. \nEndpoint Management\nManage the end-to-end lifecycle of the organisation's Endpoint infrastructure, including planning, design, procurement, deployment, operations, maintenance, and retirement. \nLeverage on enterprise endpoint management platforms (e.g. Microsoft Intune, ServiceNow, Dashboards), ensuring endpoint health, compliance, and service availability. \nEvaluate, implement, and continuously improve Endpoint hardware, software, and management solutions toenhance user experience, security, operational efficiency, and manageability. \nManage endpoint provisioning, software packaging and deployment, operating system imaging, firmware updates, patch management, and device lifecycle activities in accordance with established change management processes. \nEnsure endpoint security and compliance with Government ICT policies, cybersecurity standards, and audit requirements, including vulnerability remediation, endpoint hardening, and implementation of corrective actions. \nParticipate as the Endpoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) in business and ICT projects, providing technical consultancy, solution design, implementation, and operational support. \nPlan, manage, and deliver Endpoint infrastructure projects, including procurement, vendor management, implementation, stakeholder engagement, and project reporting, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. \nLead and supervise on-site IT support engineers, providing technical guidance, task allocation, quality assurance, and oversight of daily operations and project implementation. \nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Endpoint incidents and problems, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and providing timely updates to stakeholders. \nDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve Endpoint operational standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and knowledge articles to support consistent service delivery. \nPlan and implement proactive maintenance, monitoring, capacity planning, and continual service improvement initiatives to ensure reliability, performance, and sustainability of Endpoint services. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to design, review, and enhance Endpoint services, ensuring alignment with business and operational requirements. \nPrepare and present regular management reports on project progress, operational performance, service health, risks, compliance, and improvement initiatives. \nPerform any other duties or projects assigned by the Agency. \nCollaborate with End User Support Services (EUSS) to provision required endpoint devices for users and ensure timely resolution of end-user desktop issues. \nRequirements\nDegree or Diploma in a relevant discipline, or equivalent qualification. \nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in both desktop operations and network infrastructure operations, server and lan room setup and project deployment. \nStrong knowledge across a range of network technologies, including LAN, WAN, SDN, internet routing, security, and server/LAN room setup. \nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint suite of services and products (e.g. M365, MS Office, InTune), and knowledge of ITIL v3. \nExperienced in contract and vendor management. \nStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and senior management. \nCompetent, self-motivated, proactive, and responsible, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. \nHighly committed and adaptable, with the willingness to work outside of regular hours when operationally required. \nDemonstrated familiarity with the Government ICT environment, policies, and standards. \nExperience working within Government agencies is preferred. \nPossession of relevant network certifications.
