The engagement is 1 year.\nInternal Code: A26432\nWhat will you do?\nBuild, manage and monitor the centralised AI Foundation Platform (currently on Amazon Bedrock), providing secure access to foundation models for multi-modal data extraction, understanding and generation\nMaintain the AI infrastructure, including model access, provisioning, quotas, API integrations and service configurations across use cases\nDesign and develop full-stack platform services, including backend APIs, middleware and admin or self-service portals, that let application teams consume AI capabilities consistently\nIntegrate the AI platform with enterprise data sources and applications so AI outputs are context-aware, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, knowledge bases and vector stores\nSupport model customisation (e.g. fine-tuning, prompt management, knowledge bases) and contribute to building the MinLaw domain ontology that guides AI applications\nOptimise platform performance, latency, throughput and cost, and ensure the scalability, availability and reliability of AI services\nMonitor and report Amazon Bedrock consumption and cost against budget, and recommend optimisation measures (e.g. model selection, prompt caching, provisioned throughput)\nDesign and implement secure AI infrastructure aligned with the Agency's Enterprise Architecture and Government ICT security policies, including IAM, network isolation, encryption and secrets management\nDevelop Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning, deployment and release of AI platform components\nBuild shared, reusable platform components so common AI capabilities are built once and used many times across divisions\nDeploy and manage monitoring tools for AI service performance, utilisation and health\nTroubleshoot and resolve platform issues across infrastructure and application layers, and take part in on-call escalations\nWork with DevSecOps Engineers, Solution Architect and application division system teams to deliver end-to-end solutions\nReview source code and solutions as part of the software development lifecycle process\nProduce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and onboarding guides for application teams\nPrepare architecture and security submissions for the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and security reviews of AI platform changes\nSet up and operate the agentic AI infrastructure, including the agent runtime (e.g. Amazon Bedrock Agents / AgentCore), tool and API gateway, agent memory and state, and environments for development, testing and production\nBuild and maintain the shared agentic AI modules (reusable agents, tools, connectors and orchestration patterns, including multi-agent workflows) that CAMP case management applications consume\nProvide each agent with its own identity and least-privilege access to tools and data, with network isolation, sandboxed tool execution, secrets management and a registry of approved agents and tools\nSet usage limits for agents (token, rate, step and spend quotas, timeouts) and an emergency stop (kill switch), working with the AI MLOps Engineer on guardrail enforcement\nInstrument agents and platform services with tracing, metrics and logs (e.g. OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch) covering model calls, tool calls and agent decisions, and define SLIs/SLOs and alerts for agentic AI services\nOnboard additional case management workflows and divisions to the agentic AI platform, with onboarding guides, reference implementations and capacity planning\nProvide technical inputs for the System Security Plan (SSP) and ICT&SS / IM8 compliance for agentic AI infrastructure.\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\nDegree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines\nAt least 5 years of relevant experience in full stack development, cloud or AI platform engineering, including at least 2 years of practical experience with AI/ML or generative AI technologies\nHands-on experience in at least 2 full project development life cycles\nHands-on experience with AWS services, in particular Amazon Bedrock, and related services such as SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, OpenSearch, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch and KMS\nStrong programming skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience building RESTful APIs (e.g. FastAPI, Node.js) and web frontends (e.g. React, Angular)\nExperience building RAG pipelines, working with embeddings and vector databases, and integrating LLM APIs/SDKs with enterprise systems\nProficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolsets such as GitLab, JIRA, BitBucket and Confluence\nKnowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes\nSolid understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, and data protection controls\nAbility to troubleshoot complex issues, from system resources to application stack traces\nComfortable with Agile methodologies and working closely with product development teams\nResults and customer oriented mindset\nExcellent communication skills, both oral and written, including documentation\nHands-on experience building agentic AI systems (tool calling, multi-agent orchestration, agent memory) with frameworks such as Amazon Bedrock Agents, LangGraph or Strands Agents, and integrating tools via APIs or Model Context Protocol (MCP)\nUnderstanding of Government ICT&SS management policies (IM8), SSP requirements and observability practices, and has applied them to guardrails, access controls and monitoring of AI platforms\nExperience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and familiarity with IM8 and government security requirements\nAWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Machine Learning Specialty or Generative AI Developer\nExperience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as
