The engagement is 1 year.\nWhat will you do?\nThe Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring software reliability, test automation, and continuous quality improvement across the software development lifecycle. The role requires strong analytical skills, test automation expertise, and collaboration with product and development teams to implement robust testing strategies. Engineers must work in an agile, DevOps-driven environment, ensuring fast feedback loops, risk-based testing, and high software quality.\nCollaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to define clear and actionable user story acceptance criteria.\nWork with Software Engineers to ensure automated test coverage and prevent bugs and defects in production.\nAnalyze and decompose complex software systems to design holistic, riskbased test strategies.\nDevelop and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools\nDesign, implement, and execute comprehensive test suites covering functional, regression, exploratory, and performance testing.\nTake a risk-based approach to test automation, prioritizing critical functionality for maximum impact.\nPerform time-boxed exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.\nMaintain a stable regression test suite integrated into QA nightly builds.\nContinuously refine smoke tests in the Development CI environment for early issue detection.\nLead system integration testing with other system owners to validate cross system interactions.\nOversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met.\nManage the defect lifecycle, test artifacts, and test repositories to ensure clear tracking and reporting.\nDrive continuous improvement in agile testing practices, tools, and methodologies.\nTake on a secondary role as an Application Performance Engineer or Application Security Engineer to expand testing coverage beyond functional aspects.\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\nStrong knowledge of test automation strategies and risk-based testing.\nExperience designing and executing test cases, test plans, and test suites.\nHands-on experience with manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API services.\nFamiliarity with cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive UI testing\nExperience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, Cypress, SikuliX, or EggPlant.\nKnowledge of test scripting and automation programming using Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.\nExperience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo).\nAbility to design maintainable, scalable, and reusable test automation suites.\nExperience managing defect tracking and test repositories using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Micro Focus ALM (QC/Sprinter).\nCertified Software Testing Professional (CSTP) and/or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) is an advantage\nDegree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.\nBenefits\nWhat do we offer in return?\nCompetitive Compensation: Market competitive salary and variable performance bonus aligned to your skills, impact, and contribution.\nBenefits: Outpatient medical, specialist medical coverage and generous customisable flexi benefits, or flexi allowance; life and health insurance, thoughtful perks like special occasions “red packet” and CNY goodies, etc.\nEmployee Wellness: Support for your physical, mental, and overall well-being through year-round initiatives.\nGrowth & Development: Learning programmes, certification support, and a dedicated staff development budget.
