Drivers operate and maintain mobility buses, providing safe, courteous on- and off-boarding assistance, and timely transport to and from our centers. Drivers escort members door-to-door in all weather conditions, provide transportation for field trips, take members to medical appointments, and run errands for the center. All team members are expected to lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude; being a thoughtful, supportive, productive and dependable co- worker; keeping our members safe; and always working to enhance the health and happiness of the people we serve and those who care for them.\nJob Responsibilities\nConduct daily vehicle inspections and follow prescribed maintenance and fueling schedule; confirm wheelchair lifts and tie down equipment are operating properly. Notify supervisor of mechanical or safety concerns and report repair or service needs as they occur. Maintain vehicle cleanliness.\nRoutinely exchange recommendations and insight with coworkers to ensure best practices for accommodating unique needs of members during on-boarding, off-boarding and transport.\nAssist members with on- and off-boarding and with any special needs during transport.
