requirements.\n\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not always required.\nMust be at least 21 years of age\nValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (per company and insurance requirements).\nPrevious professional driving, NEMT, paratransit, taxi, courier, or delivery experience preferred but not required.\nSafe and responsible driving skills in all weather and traffic conditions.\nAbility to read maps, follow GPS, and navigate the service area efficiently.\nGood communication skills and a professional, courteous manner.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and complete basic paperwork/ electronic forms.\nBasic smartphone/tablet/computer skills for dispatch and trip documentation.\nAbility to assist passengers with limited mobility, including pushing wheelchairs and occasionally supporting passengers as they walk.\nAbility to lift, bend, stoop, and secure mobility devices; may include lifting up to 50 lbs.\nReliable, punctual, and able to follow schedules and instructions.\nPatient, compassionate, and comfortable working with elderly, disabled, or medically fragile individuals.\nAbility to frequently get in and out of the vehicle and assisting passengers at residences and medical facilities.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule: Work schedules may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nSafely operate company vehicles to transport passengers to and from scheduled medical appointments.\nPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues.\nFollow all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety procedures.\nProperly secure wheelchairs, stretchers, and mobility devices using approved securement systems.\nAssist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, including use of ramps, lifts, and steps.\nTreat all passengers with dignity, respect, and professionalism.\nOffer appropriate assistance to elderly, disabled, or mobility-challenged passengers.\nMaintain passenger confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company privacy policies.\nCommunicate courteously with passengers, caregivers, facilities, and dispatch regarding trip status and any issues.\nFollow daily schedules and routes as assigned by dispatch, communicating delays or changes promptly.\nUse company technology (tablets, phones, MDTs, apps) to receive trips, update statuses, and capture signatures.\nAccurately complete trip logs, mileage, time records, and any required forms or electronic documentation.\nReport no-shows, cancellations, incidents, and changes in a timely and accurate manner.\nKeep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable inside and out.\nFollow infection control and sanitation procedures, including cleaning after spills or bodily fluids when required.\nEnsure adequate fuel levels and supplies (securement equipment, PPE, forms, etc.) before and during shifts.\nComply with all company policies, broker rules, and applicable state/local regulations.\nMaintain required licenses, driving record standards, medical clearances, and certifications.\nAttend required training sessions, safety meetings, and performance
