Main duties include verifying the identification and age of customers when necessary, preparing hot and cold menu items, and using the POS to accept payment or create bill to room charges. You will also be responsible for the overall sanitation of the lounge area, balancing cash receipts to record sales, and entertaining customers who sit at the bar or in the lounge by providing stimulating conversation and excellent customer service.\nRequirements\nThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nCompletion of bartending school (preferred)\nTraining for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification is required\n1-3 years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment\nExtensive knowledge of common drinks\nTeam members are eligible for a generous benefit package including health benefits (medical, prescription, dental and vision), flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability programs, 401(k) plan (with 4% company match after one year of employment), paid time off and holidays, and much more!
