Our commitment to our people has been recognised with the Great Place to Work certification, reflecting the positive, supportive and inspiring environment we create every day.\nIf you are looking for a place where you can grow, make an impact and be part of a supportive, forward-thinking organisation, Acturis is the place for you.\n\nResponsibilities:\nTesting and defect analysis:\nreviewing requirements and specifications to ensure testability, completeness, and clarity,\n\ndesigning test cases to ensure adequate coverage of application functionality and business requirements,\n\nperforming various types of application testing, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing,\n\nidentifying, assessing, and escalating risks, dependencies, and blockers,\n\nidentifying and analysing defects, performing root cause analysis, and assessing system-wide impact,\n\nmanaging defects through their lifecycle, including verification and retesting of fixes.\n\nQA Standards & Continuous Improvement:\ndriving QA standards, best practices, and testing methodologies across projects,\n\ncontributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and documentation,\n\nsupporting the adoption of efficient and automated testing approaches,\n\nsharing knowledge and supporting the development of junior QA team members.\n\nTest Planning & Collaboration:\nparticipating in design and requirement reviews, providing quality-focused feedback throughout the development lifecycle,\n\npreparing and communicating test progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments as a project team member, test coordinator, or test manager, depending on project needs,\n\ncollaborating with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle,\n\ncontributing to test planning, release readiness, and quality assurance activities,\n\nidentifying opportunities to improve product quality and reduce testing risks.\n\nWhat tools are you going to use:\nTest management tools - execution, and reporting,\n\nJira – defect tracking, workflow management, and project collaboration,\n\nConfluence – documentation and knowledge sharing,\n\nSQL, application logs, configuration tools – investigation, troubleshooting, and data analysis,\n\nAPI testing tools – API validation, integration testing, and troubleshooting,\n\nGIT / Bitbucket / Bamboo – version control and CI/CD processes,\n\nTest automation frameworks and tools (depending on the project),\n\nMS Office - communication, collaboration, reporting, and data analysis,\n\nAI tools - productivity, knowledge discovery, and support for day-to-day QA activities.\n\nOur requirements:\nproven experience in software testing and quality assurance (mid-level),\n\nstrong knowledge of test design techniques and testing methodologies,\n\ngood understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and delivery methodologies, with experience contributing throughout the delivery lifecycle, from design to release,\n\nexperience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. TestRail, Jira),\n\nexperience contributing to QA standards, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives,\n\nability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of quality outcomes,\n\nstrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and integrations,\n\nstrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions,\n\nexcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and distributed teams,\n\nfluency in spoken and written English (minimum B2 level).\n\nNice to have:\nknowledge of QA best practices and test management approaches,\n\nexperience working with insurance or financial systems,\n\nexperience with SQL, data validation, and system integrations,\n\nexperience with API testing tools and service integration testing,\n\nexperience with test automation frameworks or supporting automation initiatives,\n\nknowledge of AI-assisted testing approaches, tools, and productivity solutions,\n\nability to balance quality, delivery timelines, and business priorities,\n\nstrong sense of ownership and a product-oriented mindset,\n\nmentoring, coaching, or informal leadership experience.\n\nWhat do we offer?\nStable employment based on an employment contract -
