The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering position is a pivotal position with the priority of successfully evaluating new and existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and develop best practices within processes throughout the supply chain. We invite you to apply and join our winning team and light the way to a brilliant, productive and connected world!\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement new equipment, mechatronic solutions, and business solutions to improve manufacturing methods for maximum efficiency and quality.\nResearch and review industry trends and emerging technology advancements by attending trade shows, reading various trade publications, and working with vendors.\nWork with product and engineering teams in the development of new products to ensure they are designed for manufacturability, service, and meet corporate cost and quality objectives.\nProject engineering/management, including creating and maintaining project logbooks, design reviews, progress control, pre/final acceptance with suppliers and internal departments.\nLead complex projects that cut across various organizational, functional, and international boundaries.\nDevelop formal business cases for new investment projects and present solutions to executive leadership.\nEstablish and maintain project schedules/ timelines to meet planned milestones and supplier timing.\nDevelop and control project budgets and spending to ensure all projects are completed under the approved budget.\nResponsible for developing and reviewing machine capacity models and providing recommendations/solutions for capacity shortfalls.\nProvide Capability analysis (Cp/Cpk) & GR&R support for new and existing processes.\nLead and participate in Kaizen events to improve ABL processes.\nTrain operations teams on new machines and manufacturing processes.\nResponsible for directing and overseeing projects in collaboration with internal and external project resources.\nMinimum Requirements\nMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering and/or Engineering Technology or equivalent field.\n2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, warehouse logistics, or automation, preferably involving process improvement and technology implementation.\nExtensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles as well as understanding scientific methods of problem solving.\nDemonstrated ability with cost analysis, product design methods, interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate all of these skills to a productive cost-effective result.\nExcellent program and project management skills with a sense of urgency and strong document management.\nExcellent analytical skills including the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, process, change and improve design and equipment.\nExperience and knowledge of Lean Principles, Lean Cell Design, Kaizen, and demonstrated ability in continuous improvement.\nStrong presentation, written and verbal skills.\nAble to communicate ideas and recommendations to non-engineer team members in a clear manner.\nProfessional/ mature demeanour under stressful conditions.\nMust be competent with CAD systems, DFM, and FMEA.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).\nMust be able to communicate complex concepts to personnel at all levels of organization in written and verbal forms.\nMust be fluent in English language, both oral and written. Knowledge of the Spanish language a plus.\nRequires working knowledge and expanded conceptual knowledge in primary technical job family and broadens capabilities; has worked with and is proficient with current technologies.\nContinues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers.\nPerforms a range of technical assignments related to job discipline.\nUses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations.\nReceives a moderate level of guidance and direction.\nTravel Requirements\nAbility to travel internationally required.\nAbility to travel up to 40%.\nThe range for this position is $68,600.00 to $148,000.00 USD.
