We combine industry partnerships and long-term federal experience with innovative technical leadership to support our customers’ critical missions.Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and reusable automation workflows. \nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, system configuration, patching, software deployments, and routine operational tasks across Linux, Windows, cloud, and hybrid environments. \nAdminister and support Ansible Automation Platform (Automation Controller/Tower), including inventories, credentials, job templates, and workflows. \nIntegrate Ansible automation with AWS, Azure, VMware, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms. \nSupport Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or similar technologies. \nIntegrate automation into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar tools. \nCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to automate system hardening, configuration compliance, patch management, and security remediation. \nTroubleshoot automation failures, configuration drift, and infrastructure issues while continuously improving automation reliability. \nDevelop technical documentation, automation standards, and operational procedures. \nWork with engineering and operations teams to identify and automate manual processes that improve efficiency and consistency. \nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience. \nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in systems engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation. \nHands-on experience developing and supporting automation using Ansible. \nExperience with Linux and/or Windows administration. \nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or similar). \nExperience with AWS and familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud. \nExperience with scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash. \nExperience with Git and CI/CD pipelines. \nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nRed Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or RHCE. \nAWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification. \nSecurity+, CISSP, or other cybersecurity certification. \nExperience supporting the U.S. Department of State or other federal agencies. \nExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, VMware, or ServiceNow. \nFamiliarity with NIST RMF, FISMA, FedRAMP, and DevSecOps practices. \nClearance Requirement\n Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required.\nMin\nUSD $125,000.00/Yr.Max\nUSD $160,000.00/Yr.Salary Range\nThe salary range for this position represents Acuity's good faith estimate of the compensation for this job title at the time of posting.
