Acuity, Inc. is a consulting firm that supports federal agencies in the areas of IT Modernization, Data Enablement, and Hyperautomation.Responsibilities\nAs a Business Analyst, you will serve as a dedicated team member who has primary responsibility to support the development team to successfully achieve their daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives. They do so by effectively eliciting, documenting, communicating, and prioritizing business requirements from clients while applying, implementing and enforcing Scrum principles and practices. The Business Analyst will support and facilitate a team dynamic intended to maximize performance of the team and will assist with continuously improving agile practices.\nOther responsibilities to include but not be limited to:\nFormation and definition of project activities and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. \nDevelops understanding of business needs of multiple stakeholders and/or product owner through a variety of elicitation techniques. \nFacilitates the negotiation of requirements amongst stakeholders, product owner, and project manager. \nHelps business stakeholders envision how their processes will change with implementation of solutions. \nBuilds requirements to accurately and thoroughly capture business needs and ensures user stories are concise and complete. \nBuilds and updates system requirements specification documents or other requirements related artifacts. \nAble to interact with technical staff and work collaboratively to define technical solutions to solve business needs. \nAble to perform responsibilities utilizing agile software development methodologies. \nQualifications\nDesired Skills and Experience:\nBachelor's Degree with experience in a related Information Technology field \nExperience in developing requirements \nExperience writing technical documents \nExcellent writing and communication skills \nAble to take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility for tasks \nAble to multi-task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and client deadlines \nProactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes \nContributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization Agile process life cycle \nStrong written and communication skills required \nMust have Agile experience; methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar) \nExperience with User Interface designs and mockups \nPrior experience with building solutions using Microsoft Power Apps or Dynamics, Power Platform, and Power BI is highly desirable. \nPrevious experience working with Government clients is highly desirable \nMust have experience in conducting daily stand-up meetings, planning and review sessions, prioritizing tasks and mitigating roadblocks \nRequired Clearance:\nMust be US Citizen and have at least an active US government Secret-level security clearance \nMin\nUSD $90,000.00/Yr.Max\nUSD $100,000.00/Yr.Salary Range\nThe salary range for this position represents Acuity's good faith estimate of the compensation for this job title at the time of posting.
