We combine industry partnerships and long-term federal experience with innovative technical leadership to support our customers’ critical missions.Responsibilities\nDeploy, configure, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).\nSupport migration of enterprise applications and infrastructure to cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud solutions. \nImplement cloud security controls including Identity and Access Management (IAM), RBAC, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), encryption, network segmentation, security groups, and Zero Trust principles. \nBuild, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar automation technologies. \nDeploy and administer Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, GKE), Docker containers, and cloud-native workloads. \nSupport CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps principles and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms. \nImplement cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Google Cloud Operations Suite, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or equivalent tools. \nPerform cloud vulnerability management, patch management, configuration management, and cloud security posture management (CSPM) to maintain secure cloud environments. \nTroubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, compute, identity, and application issues while maintaining high availability and performance. \nSupport implementation of disaster recovery, backup, resiliency, and business continuity solutions. \nCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure cloud environments comply with NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA, and Department of State security requirements. \nDocument cloud configurations, implementation procedures, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and technical documentation. \nWork closely with senior cloud engineers, architects, developers, and government stakeholders to implement secure cloud solutions and continuously improve cloud operations. \nPerform additional duties as assigned in support of customer mission objectives. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure engineering, supporting enterprise-level cloud environments.\n 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including designing and operating OCI environments.\nExperience supporting cloud migration projects and infrastructure automation.\nExperience deploying and supporting IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud solutions.\nExperience implementing cloud security controls, including IAM, encryption, network security, Zero Trust concepts, and least-privilege access.\nExperience supporting cloud environments governed by NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA, or Department of State security standards.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Bicep, ARM Templates, or equivalent.\nExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerized application technologies.\nExperience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.\nExperience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively within cross-functional technical teams in an Agile environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification, such as OCI Architect Associate/Professional or equivalent\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional \nAWS Security Specialty \nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate \nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate \nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert \nGoogle Professional Cloud Engineer \nGoogle Professional Cloud Security Engineer \nCISSP, CCSP, Security+, Cloud+, or comparable cybersecurity certification \nExperience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Lacework, Orca, or other Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platforms. \nExperience supporting Department of State or other federal civilian cloud environments. \nExperience with ServiceNow and Agile/Scrum methodologies. \nClearance Requirement\n Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required.\nMin\nUSD $115,000.00/Yr.Max\nUSD $160,000.00/Yr.Salary Range\nThe salary range for this position represents Acuity's good faith estimate of the compensation for this job title at the time of posting.
