Acuity, Inc. is a consulting firm that supports federal agencies in the areas of IT Modernization, Data Enablement, and Hyperautomation.Responsibilities\nArchitect enterprise-level data center solutions including SAN, compute clusters, and software-defined networking.\nDesign high-availability and disaster recovery architectures for physical and virtualized federal environments.\nLead the technical design of data center consolidation and modernization efforts for cabinet-level agencies.\nCollaborate with security teams to ensure physical and virtual infrastructure meets NIST 800-53 and FISMA High standards.\nDevelop technical specifications for hardware procurement and facility power/cooling requirements.\nEngineer hybrid-cloud connectivity architectures linking physical data centers to GovCloud environments.\nProvide technical oversight for the implementation of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field.\n10+ years of experience in data center operations and infrastructure design.\n5+ years of experience designing secure infrastructures for federal or highly regulated organizations.\nDeep expertise in VMware, Hyper-V, and storage technologies (NetApp, Dell/EMC).\nPreferred Certifications\nFederal & Security: CISSP.\n Domain-Specific: VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) or NetApp Certified Data Administrator.\n Architecture/Management: TOGAF.\nTechnical Skills\nVirtualization: VMware vSphere, ESXi, NSX, vSAN.\nStorage: SAN/NAS architectures, Fibre Channel, iSCSI.\nNetworking: Cisco ACI, software-defined data centers (SDDC).\nHardware: Blade servers, HCI platforms (Nutanix, Dell VxRail).\nRegulatory & Domain Expertise\nDemonstrated expertise in applying NIST 800-53 physical and logical security controls.\nTechnical implementation of FISMA High requirements for on-premises data centers.\nKnowledge of ICD 705 standards for secure facility (SCIF) operations.\nClearance Requirement\nActive security clearance (Secret or Top Secret)\nMin\nUSD $180,000.00/Yr.Max\nUSD $220,000.00/Yr.Salary Range\nThe salary range for this position represents Acuity's good faith estimate of the compensation for this job title at the time of posting.
