The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications, and a solid understanding of healthcare data structures and workflows.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReporting & Dashboard Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards to support operational, clinical, and financial reporting needs.\nPerform data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization optimization in Power BI.\nEnsure reports meet accuracy, performance, security, and usability standards.\nETL & Data Management\nSupport ETL processes, including requirements gathering, data mapping, data validation, and quality reviews.\nCollaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data pipelines are aligned with reporting needs.\nValidate data integrity across various source systems (EMR, billing, claims, CRM, etc.).\nRequirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement\nWork directly with business units (clinical, operations, compliance, finance) to collect and document detailed reporting requirements.\nProvide requirement clarification to offshore teams and ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.\nConvert ambiguous business requirements into clear technical specifications.\nCoordination with Offshore Team\nServe as the primary liaison with the offshore development group.\nReview work delivered by offshore teams for accuracy, alignment with requirements, and compliance with healthcare reporting standards.\nFacilitate knowledge transfer, manage task prioritization, and ensure timely issue resolution.\nQuality Assurance & Compliance\nConduct thorough testing and validation of reports, dashboards, and ETL outputs.\nEnsure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PHI handling, data governance).\nMaintain documentation for reporting processes, data definitions, and business logic.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n3-7 years of experience in reporting and analytics roles.\nHands-on experience with:\nSSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)\nPower BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)\nSQL scripting and database querying\nETL processes (SSIS or equivalent tools)\nStrong understanding of relational databases and data warehouse concepts.\nExperience collaborating with offshore technical teams.\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\nPreferred\nExperience in a medical or healthcare organization (clinical workflows, claims, EMR systems, healthcare KPIs).\nKnowledge of HIPAA, PHI security, and data governance best practices.\nFamiliarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred).\nSoft Skills\nTranslator Skills: The ability to take a vague request from a physician or executive and turn it into a concrete technical requirement.\n Detail Oriented: In healthcare, a decimal point in the wrong place matters.
