Stay safe and protect your personal information.\nJob Summary:\nJoin a team helping deliver some of the Department of Energy's most critical environmental cleanup and infrastructure projects.\nAcuity-PT&C is seeking experienced and motivated Cost Estimator/Cost Analyst Professional to support the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site. Whether your expertise is in cost estimating, acquisition support, earned value management, scheduling, or project performance analysis, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex, high-value projects that make a lasting impact.\nAt Acuity, you'll work alongside industry professionals supporting DOE's mission while developing solutions that improve project performance, strengthen cost management, and support informed decision-making.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nDepending on your experience and area of expertise, responsibilities may include:\nCost Estimating\nDevelop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) for capital asset, design-build, and infrastructure projects.\nPerform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, subcontract, and equipment cost estimates.\nAnalyze project scope, drawings, and technical documentation to develop defensible cost estimates.\nLead estimate development efforts and coordinate with project stakeholders.\nCost Analysis\nEvaluate contractor proposals for cost reasonableness, realism, and compliance with acquisition requirements.\nAnalyze direct and indirect cost elements.\nCompile, interpret, and communicate complex financial and cost data.\nProvide data-driven recommendations to support contract and project decisions.\nQualifications:\nMust be a U.S. citizen\nBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.\n5 years of experience in cost estimating, cost analysis, project controls, scheduling or construction management\nProfessional certifications such as PMP, CCP, EVP, PSP, or similar are desirable.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and pivot tables.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nThe ability to work effectively with project teams, technical experts, and senior leadership.\nA proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic project environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCost estimating, cost analysis, project controls, scheduling, EVMS, construction management, engineering, or related disciplines.\nExperience with Primavera P6, MII, or similar estimating and project controls software.\nDOE, federal government, or major capital project experience.\nHanford experience is a plus, but not required.\nPhysical Requirements and Work Conditions:\nWork is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.\nWork involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.\nAcuity International is an equal opportunity employer.
