Stay safe and protect your personal information.\nLocation: Deploying to the Marshall Islands.\nSummary:\nThe Armed Guard will perform all duties associated with maintaining peace and security on a U.S. Army Installation located on Kwajalein Island, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. Armed Guards will be assigned to the Kwajalein Central Patrol Station, Entry and Exit, Kwajalein Dock Security Check Point and Roi-Namur Security Detachment. Assignments are dictated by staffing requirements.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nConduct roving mobile and foot patrols of housing areas and BQs.\nConduct foot patrols in the downtown area.\nConduct security checks of MEVAs.\nAssist Department of the Army Civilian Police (DACP) when requested.\nConduct traffic control during special events.\nPrepare detailed Activity Reports when required.\nQualifications:\nMust have a minimum of 6 months of security experience at GS4 level. \nMust be a U.S. citizen.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nPossess an Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to maintain such clearance.\nPossess a U.S. Passport with a minimum of two (2) years remaining.\nActive U.S. Driver’s License.\nFamiliarity with MS Office suite and basic computer skills.\nMust pass a background check in accordance with contract requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior Law Enforcement, Armed Security or Honorable Discharge from any U.S. Military Branch of Service.\nPhysical Requirements and Work Conditions:\nWork involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.\nWork involves performing security duties in inclement weather.\nMust have ability to effectively detain an offender using minimal force.\nMust pass an initial and annual Physical Readiness Test (PRT) consisting of a mile and half run under 17:30, 19 push-ups in 2 minutes and 19 sit-ups in 2 minutes.\nMust pass a U.S. Army firearms qualification course utilizing the issued 9mm handgun.\nAcuity International is an equal opportunity employer.
