Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.\nJob Summary\nAnalyze and interpret the Supply Plan by comparing planned requirements against actual orders to determine material requisition needs through Oracle. Ensure accurate material forecasting and availability to support production and customer demands while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Drive inventory optimization initiatives, balancing supply and demand to minimize excess inventory and material shortages, while ensuring efficient procurement and inventory management processes.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nAnalyze the Supply Plan and submit material requisitions through Oracle based on actual material requirements.\n\nMaintain and update Kanban loops using the Standard Deviation Kanban Formula.\n\nEnsure MRP and Kanban items remain within required safety stock levels.\n\nAnalyze material consumption, inventory levels, and supply requirements to ensure material availability.\n\nCreate ISO (Internal Sales Orders) and internal orders, monitoring their delivery and fulfillment.\n\nManage material planning categories (MRP, Kanban, and DSY), Inter-Division Sourcing Rules, and related parameters.\n\nMake pull-in and push-out decisions for material requisitions based on Supply Plan requirements.\n\nMonitor and track materials on hold or in quarantine associated with ISO orders.\n\nCoordinate phase-in, phase-down, and phase-out activities related to engineering changes.\n\nSupport new product introductions, product transfers, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).\n\nParticipate in and support inventory reduction initiatives.\n\nAdminister and monitor installed rack capacity.\n\nMaintain inventory levels within established healthy ranges.\n\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.\n\nAdvanced English skills\n3 to 5 years of experience in Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related manufacturing functions.\n\nApproximately 3 years of preferred experience in a relevant manufacturing or industrial environment.\n\nKnowledge of procurement and material planning processes.\n\nUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.\n\nKnowledge of Kanban and MRP systems.\n\nSupply Chain knowledge, including logistics, imports, and exports.\n\nInventory optimization and service-level management.\n\nData analysis and maintenance.\n\nExperience with Oracle is important for managing material requisitions and inventory records.\n\nStrong execution and problem-solving skills.\n\nEffective communication skills.\n\nAnalytical and organizational abilities.\n\nAbility to optimize inventory levels while maintaining service requirements.\n\nSedentary work: Ability to occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force.
