Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.\nJob Summary\nThe Senior Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, optimizing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to ensure operational efficiency, equipment reliability, product quality, and workplace safety.\nThis position focuses on identifying process inefficiencies, implementing corrective and preventive actions, reducing scrap, and improving productivity through established problem-solving methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles.\nThe role collaborates with cross-functional teams to support production requirements, new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring manufacturing equipment operates safely and efficiently.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.\nIdentify and analyze equipment inefficiencies, manufacturing bottlenecks, and process deviations to implement effective solutions.\nLead corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, minimizing downtime, and improving manufacturing KPIs.\nEnsure manufacturing equipment and processes comply with established safety procedures, operational standards, and EHS requirements.\nApply Lean Manufacturing principles, process control methodologies, and PFMEA to improve process stability and product quality.\nDesign and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.\nSupport new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes, and manufacturing process implementation.\nCollaborate with Product Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Training, and EHS teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.\nSupport production requirements by ensuring manufacturing processes and equipment meet established performance expectations.\nParticipate in initiatives to improve total variable cost (TVC) performance through process optimization and waste reduction.\nProvide technical guidance and support to manufacturing personnel to ensure effective process execution and continuous improvement.\nMinimum Requirements\nCompleted bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar positions, preferably in fabrication or manufacturing environments.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience with process control, PFMEA, and structured problem-solving tools.\nKnowledge of Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies.\nExperience implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce scrap.\nExperience supporting new product introductions (NPI) and manufacturing process changes.\nConversational English proficiency. (MUST)\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong analytical, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to coordinate and guide manufacturing personnel and collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nStrong communication, organizational, and continuous improvement skills.\nFamiliarity with fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, rolling machines, presses, bending machines, CNC equipment, and paint booths.\nKnowledge of CAD/CAM software and manufacturing applications.\nFamiliarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).\nKnowledge of BSF and ADP systems.\nTravel Requirements\n1-20%\nWe value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
