Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.\nJob Summary\n- Implement strategies to ensure work teams achieve operational objectives by assigning responsibilities based on each team member’s strengths and skills, while providing the necessary training to ensure effective execution.\n- Foster an environment of trust, open communication, and continuous feedback, promoting talent development and strengthening leadership capabilities.\n- Additionally, coordinate production activities by understanding the basic operation of automated equipment and processes, particularly Allen-Bradley systems, ensuring safe operations and an appropriate response to alarms, downtime, and technical issues.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nDevelop growth plans for Cell Leaders, strengthening their competencies and leadership skills.\n\nCreate action plans to foster a positive work environment where employees can reach their full potential and improve employee engagement.\n\nManage and ensure adherence to the operating and production plans to achieve the department’s key performance indicators.\n\nDevelop and implement process improvements using the BSF methodology, positively impacting Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Service.\n\nWork closely with Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure the proper operation of automated machinery and the timely resolution of technical issues.\n\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures, particularly when working with automated systems.\n\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nCompleted bachelor’s degree or engineering degree.\n\nConversational English proficiency.\n\n3-5 years of experience leading production teams in manufacturing companies.\n\nPreferably, 2 years of experience in a similar position.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\n\nAbility to interpret and analyze data, charts, and performance indicators.\n\nDemonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work with people at different organizational levels.\n\nAbility to train, develop, and facilitate the learning of other employees.\n\nGenuine interest in people development.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills.\n\nFamiliarity with automated production lines, sensors, and safety devices (Safety Interlocks) is preferred.\n\nAbility to interpret machine status indicators, alarms, and operating parameters, as well as coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to address technical issues.\n\nBasic knowledge of Allen-Bradley systems and automated machinery operations.\n\nTravel Requirements\n0-25%\nWe value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
