BUILD program is a two-year rotational experience designed to develop high-potential early-career talent through hands-on experience. Participants rotate to a different functional area every six months to build business acumen, functional expertise, and professional skills for future career opportunities across Acuity.\nBUILD is designed for curious, adaptable, and motivated early-career talent who demonstrate learning agility, communication, ownership, critical thinking, willingness to seek feedback, solve problems, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.\nThis role begins July 12, 2027, and has a flexible work location. In-person requirements vary by rotation, with some rotations on-site and others offering flexible arrangements.\nParticipants also receive:\nSpecialized onboarding.\nOne-on-one mentorship from a Supply Chain leader.\nSocial and networking opportunities.\nCollaboration opportunities with program peers.\nLeadership report-outs and performance reviews.\nWe’re looking for talent who enjoys learning and new challenges, takes ownership, collaborates effectively, seeks feedback, embraces technology and new ways of working, and is interested in a long-term career at Acuity.\nKey Responsibilities\nSpecific projects are determined by business needs. Supply Chain Sourcing Specialists complete rotations across functional areas, balancing individual interests with current company objectives while working alongside experienced colleagues. Rotation opportunities and location expectations include:\nProcurement (on-site at the assigned Acuity location)\nSourcing Leader (flexible-location rotation with travel as needed)\nJunior Category Leader (flexible-location rotation with travel as needed)\nOther exposure areas for Supply Chain Sourcing Specialists include, but are not limited to:\nTransportation Sourcing\nNew Product Introduction Sourcing \nSupplier Development \nSourcing Center for Excellence\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.\nInterest in sourcing or procurement; related coursework, projects, or internship experience preferred.\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, project-management, and time-management skills.\nEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders and suppliers.\nInterest in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, cost management, and material productivity.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; data-analysis or supply-chain tools preferred.\nAvailability to travel up to 30%.\nLeadership experience influencing change, people, or processes.\nCollaborative, adaptable, and able to take initiative and ownership.\nInternship experience and/or less than two years of related work experience preferred.\nAcuity offers benefits including health care, dental and vision coverage, 401K benefits, and commissions/incentive compensation depending on the role.\nWe value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
