You’ll work closely with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to define the product vision, manage the product backlog, and ensure successful product delivery that aligns with business goals.\nYour role is pivotal in connecting business needs with technical implementation, acting as the voice of the customer, and ensuring the team builds the right product at the right time.\nKey accountabilities\nPerformance and progress in the following areas will be the priorities for this position: \nEstablish strong working relationships with customer stakeholders.\n\nDefine and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business objectives and customer needs.\n\nBuild, own, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and transparent.\n\nCollaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, understand, and prioritize product requirements.\n\nTranslate high-level requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.\n\nWork with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-value features and improvements.\n\nCollaborate with Solution Architects, UX/UI designers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.\n\nLead and Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.\n\nMake informed decisions on trade-offs between scope, budget, and timeline.\n\nMonitor product performance, collect feedback, and iterate based on data and user insights.\n\nAct as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product features and roadmap progress.\n\nQualification, experience and skills\nMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst or Product Owner.\n\nFamiliarity with modern requirements gathering and documentation tools with advanced skills in Confluence, Jira or Azure DevOps.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nStrong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.\n\nA proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership to drive responsibilities forward and the ability to work with minimal supervision.\n\nFamiliarity with change management processes to facilitate smooth transitions during project implementations.\n\nStrong customer service focus.\n\nWhy Join Us\nAt Acuity Analytics, you'll have the opportunity to work across complex enterprise Azure environments while helping shape and improve our Managed Services capability.\nYou'll solve challenging technical problems, influence standards and automation, mentor other engineers, and work closely with customers and technical teams.\nPeople are at the Heart of our Business.
