Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.\nJob Summary\nAt Acuity, we are building a modern, scalable Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform to support our growing portfolio of digital products, customers, partners, and digital experiences across Acuity Commerce and other business units.\nAs a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and operating the next generation of customer identity services that power authentication, authorization, user management, customer onboarding, and secure access across multiple digital products and channels.\nYou will work closely with Platform Engineering, Security, Product, and Architecture teams to build highly scalable cloud-native solutions that provide seamless and secure customer experiences. Stack Platform Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications supporting CIAM capabilities.\nBuild customer-facing identity experiences including registration, login, MFA, profile management, account recovery, and consent management.\nDevelop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices supporting identity workflows.\nBuild responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.\nImplement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms across web, mobile, and API channels.\nCollaborate with architects and IAM specialists to implement identity design patterns and standards.\nCustomer Identity & Access Management (CIAM)\nIntegrate applications with CIAM platforms such as Microsoft Entra External ID, Okta, Auth0, or other Identity Providers (IdPs).\nImplement:Single Sign-On (SSO)\nMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA)\nPasswordless Authentication\nFederated Identity\nCustomer Self-Service Registration\nCustomer Profile mentoring within the engineering team.\nHelp drive adoption of the shared CIAM platform across Acuity business units.\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience.\nProven experience developing full-stack applications in cloud-native environments.\nStrong experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.\nExperience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js or Vue.js.\nStrong backend development experience using Node.js, Python.\nExperience working with relational and NoSQL databases.\nExperience with microservices and distributed architectures.\nHands-on experience integrating with identity providers such as:Microsoft Entra ID / External ID\nOkta\nAuth0\nPing Identity\nSimilar CIAM platforms\n\nSolid understanding of:OAuth 2.0\nOpenID Connect (OIDC)\nSAML\nJWT Tokens\nAuthentication & Authorization
