The incumbent will also be responsible for entering technical data into the mechanical integrity data management system.\nTravel Requirements: This position requires the ability to travel approximately 30-40% of the time. The role will include a combination of office-based responsibilities and field support, requiring regular presence at job sites and in the field.\nLocation Requiements:\nWe are currently seeking local candidates based in Portland, Oregon or surrounding area. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.\nResponsibilities\nReview and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, and related data to assess factors affecting the structure of piping and vessels, and the procedures and instructions to be followed.\nUtilize 3D laser scan point cloud data to generate 3D Models, 2D Isometrics, perform P&ID / PFD validation.\nConfer with customer representatives to review schematics and answer questions pertaining to results.\nWorking from sketches, notes and other input materials, develop detailed AutoCAD drawings.\nReview of contract documents with team members and checking of drawings for accuracy and coordination.\nWork at client’s facilities to assist in gathering information visually and with various measuring equipment.\nEnter provided data into mechanical integrity data management system.\nPerform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n2-year degree in Mechanical Drafting, CAD, or other related discipline\nDemonstrated knowledge and experience in industrial drafting\nProficient in various CAD platforms (i.e. AutoCAD, Plant3D, CadWorx, etc.)\nDemonstrates working knowledge of relevant aspects of commercial planning and design\nExperience with CAD operation related to pressure vessels and piping\nKnowledge of API codes and other related NDT principles preferred \nProficient MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nProficient with computer editing software, PhotoShop, Equal\nTravel Requirements: This position requires the ability to travel approximately 30-40% of the time.
