This role requires the safe and effective operation of MFL equipment, accurate data collection, and detailed reporting in accordance with company and industry standards.\nResponsibilities\nSet up, calibrate, and operate MFL (Magnetic Flux Leakage) inspection equipment according to manufacturer and company procedures\nConduct inspections on pipelines, tanks, and other metal structures to identify and assess defects\nInterpret and analyze MFL data to determine the presence and severity of anomalies\nPrepare clear and concise inspection reports and communicate findings to supervisors and clients\nMaintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on MFL equipment\nAdhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)\nTravel to various job sites, including remote locations, as required\nParticipate in safety meetings and ongoing training\nConduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection\nEstablish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations\nApply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results\nInterpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators\nOrganize and report test results\nPerform specialized inspections\nMay instruct and supervise others\nPerform other job-related tasks as assigned by management\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nSome college preferred\nPrevious experience in NDT and/or MFL inspections is an asset\nMulti-Certified in MT/PT/UT/UTT/VT/RT/DR/CR (any combination)\nTechnical background in NDT methods and procedures\nDemonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections\nKnowledge of NDT equipment\nExperience in report writing\nPrevious experience in an industrial setting\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary\nMedical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance\n401K Plan\nPaid Holidays\nPaid Time Off\nPay Transparency: As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $28.37 -$45.67 an hour depending on experience and applicable certifications\nCompany Overview\nAcuren is a trusted, single source provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
