Summary\nAcuren is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to support our operation in Corpus Christi,TX.\nThe Operations Manager is responsible to plan, deliver and promote services that meet client needs within a specific regional or geographical location in a manner that complies with safety, quality and financial goals, while providing strategic solutions to clients that enhance Acuren’s position as a trusted business partner and reduce their costs to operate.\nStrong technical background in NDT, with a particular emphasis on Radiographic Testing (RT).\nDemonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT inspections and accurately interpret inspection results.\nProficient knowledge of NDT equipment, techniques, and inspection processes.\nAbility to apply technical knowledge and industry standards to ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant inspection results.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the efficient and profitable delivery of technical services within a specific geographic or technical service area by:\nHiring, retaining and managing the performance of staff who possess the necessary technical and safety qualifications to perform the available work;\nAppropriately scheduling manpower and ensuring consumable, equipment, fleet resources are available, maintained in good condition, and regularly audited;\nEnsuring compliance with company specific safety and quality programs and the appropriate use of procedures and administrative controls;\nPreparing price estimates for complex and detailed work packages;\nPerforming regular site visits to engage technical staff in field and ensure projects are on schedule and within scope;\nApproving technical training recommendations;\nEnsuring appropriate policies and procedure are in place and support ongoing service improvements;\nProviding oversight to administrative functions to ensure accurate and efficient completion of\nManage financial performance by:\nProviding ongoing oversight and analysis of monthly financial reports, and monthly billable time reports, making necessary adjustments;\nReviewing and approving operational expenses, DTR’s and expense submissions;\nParticipating in in the development of operational and capital budgets;\nDefining limits of authority with staff to ensure wise decisions are made with respect to the company resources;\nEffectively managing resources including facilities, vehicles, and equipment to ensure safe, secure, cost-effective and reliable use.\nEnsure Service Excellence & Perform Business Development including:\nCollaborating with other Acuren leaders to build and develop client relationships based on the provision of exceptional service and ethical business practices;\nEngaging productively with existing and new clients to expand regional service offerings;\nImproving value of services offered and demonstrating innovative technology to customers;\nUtilizing site specific metrics to improve productivity and improve customer service;\nSeeking clarification of the client’s expectations, clearly defining work-scopes, monitoring project execution and verifying customer satisfaction. \nOther work duties as assigned.Requirements\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nThe position requires the following skills and abilities:\nStrong technical background in NDT\nStrong technical background in RT\nDemonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections\nKnowledge of NDT equipment\nTechnical background in API 510/570/653 preferred \nCWI/NCCER/NACE certifications a plus \nStrong managerial skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels;\nExcellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;\nProficiency in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;\nExcellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills to manage difficult customer interactions;\nStrong organizational and prioritization skills.\nConsistently demonstrates their understanding of, and compliance with, responsibilities under the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, and Acuren Safety and Quality Management Systems, policies and procedures.\nEDUCATION:\nBachelors degree in relevant field, supplemented by a minimum of 8 years of operational experience in an industrial/technical environment, 3
