{"id":1588548,"url":"https://alion.io/job/acwa-ccr-operator","title":"CCR Operator","company":{"id":2009856,"name":"Acwa","domain":"acwapower.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/acwapower","size_band":"5000+","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"SuccessFactors","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"middle","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"inferred","locations":["Saudi Arabia"],"countries":["SA"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":25000,"max_usd":55000,"period":"year","method":"global_role_cell_scaled_by_country","sample_n":5064},"experience_years_min":3,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-15T00:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-15","last_verified_at":"2026-10-13T01:05:01Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":28,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":28},"description":"Position Title: CCR Operator\nReports to: Shift Engineer / Shift Supervisor\nLocation: Al Madinnah Al Manwarah, Sidra\nJOB PURPOSE:\nTo monitor and control the operations and parameters of the power and water units through the plant’s control room and maintain a steady state of operations of the units, to meet the required production targets, in accordance with ACWA NOMAC’s work instructions and quality and HSSE standards.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nDescription\nControl Room Operations\nOperate the assigned unit / plant from the control panel as per defined procedures, adjust operating conditions and product flows and take immediate corrective action in the event of abnormalities or malfunction in the operating equipment.\nDevelop thorough understanding of plant layout, processes, operating advanced technology systems and equipment and work procedures of multiple operating assets in order to perform duties and day-to-day operations as per defined quality/HSE standards.\nMaintain continuous radio contact with field operators, informing them of current operating conditions and initiating required actions to maintain operations within the agreed operating parameters.\nUpdate the control room registers and logs and carry out proper shift handover to ensure seamless communication.\nFollow the work instructions of the Shift Supervisor / Engineer, monitor any system abnormalities and take quick actions and decisions to normalize the equipment as per the work instructions / SOPs.\nMake initial diagnostic check to determine cause of equipment malfunction, correct faults if required or raise work requests for faulty equipment to the concerned departments and follow up for the timely and efficient defect rectification.\nCoordinate and ensure Lock Out & Tag Out during the isolation of equipment for maintenance and normalize the equipment after cancellation, as per the approved Permit to Work procedure.\nProvide on-the-job training to junior team members to facilitate knowledge sharing and achievement of defined quality standards within the team.\nHealth, Safety, Security & Environment\nAdhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.\nMonitor the environmental regulatory parameters on a regular basis and report any deviations to Shift Supervisor/Engineer for corrective action.\nPolicies, Processes, Systems & Procedures\nAdhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.\nContinuous Improvement\nContribute in the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the organization’s standards.\nRelated Assignments\nPerform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nA Technical Diploma holder in Engineering.\nMinimum Experience:\n3 -
