Supervises and co-ordinates activities of maintenance staff. Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence related to work.\nExecutes work order through CMMS (SAP) and co-ordinates with planning engineer for job completion and technical matters.\nMaintain such communications and relations as are necessary to report on the status of matters requiring action and to ensure that corrective action is undertaken.\nHelps Section Head Maintenance Manager in executing corrective and planned maintenance with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.\nTo perform technical evaluation of quotations received from purchase department and recommend appropriate choice.\nTo prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.\nReview and recommend new maintenance procedures and work instructions.\nSupervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of all personnel assigned to his area.\nTo carry out any other duty assigned to him by the management from time to time.\nEnsure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated.\nImplement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs.\nProvide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS.\nReport IMS performance to the management periodically.\nEnsure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities.\nEnsure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/deviations and implement corrective actions/preventive actions.\nIdentify the competency gap for subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.\nCarry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees.\nResponsible to ensure compliance with legal, contractual and organizational requirements.\nProvide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT performance.\nIdentification, documentation and control of hazards in assigned work area.\nEnsure aspects identified are monitored and operational controls are followed.\nReport deviations in Integrated Management System, identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nReporting of emergencies, incidents and near misses.\nEffective resource utilization.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducational Requirements\nDesired:\nBachelor's Degree in I & C Engineering from a four-year college or university.\nExperience\nMinimum:\nSix to ten years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPreferred:\nTwelve years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nRequired Skills\nAwareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management System principles.\nKnowledge of applicable legal requirements.\nHazard Risk Assessment.\nAspect Impact Assessment.\nInvestigation skills.\nKnowledge of spillage containment.\nKnowledge of managing HSE emergencies.\nKnowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste.\nKnowledge of Emission Monitoring.\nAbility to lead the maintenance group.\nExcellent communication skills in English.\nComputer literate and able to use MS Outlook for correspondence.\nAble to use SAP as an end user.\nDesired Certification / Job Specific Skill / Training\nAs per company requirements.\nWork Condition\nAs per plant operational
