Operator Location: Jubail\nDepartment / Plant: OperationsReporting To: CCR Operator / Shift Supervisor\nJob Summary\nMonitor operational parameters of the system locally and coordinate with the CCR Operator for all activities affecting plant operations.\nResponsible for safe startup and shutdown of the plant in line with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nRoles & Responsibilities\nComply with safety rules and regulations; be familiar with firefighting equipment in the assigned area.\nFollow instructions from the Shift Supervisor / Shift Charge Engineer and CCR Operator.\nBe familiar with plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, basic control logics, emergency operating procedures, and related documents.• Monitor operational parameters and record periodic readings in log sheets.\nRecord and summarize all shift activities and events in the logbook.\nInspect plant areas and auxiliaries to ensure equipment parameters remain within limits.\nReport any abnormalities immediately to the CCR Operator.\nPerform equipment changeovers according to preset schedules.\nRaise work requests or defect notes for malfunctioning or faulty equipment.\nCoordinate with CCR Operator / Shift Supervisor for isolation and line-up of equipment and systems before and after maintenance.\nMaintain good housekeeping standards and ensure cleanup after maintenance activities.\nFollow all standard operating procedures and work instructions at all times.\nAssist in training and familiarization of new operators.\nReport near misses and implement prescribed risk control measures.\nReport deviations related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.\nEnsure proper waste identification, handling, and disposal.\nPerform any other duties as assigned by supervision.\nJob Specifications Education\nDesired: Diploma\nPreferred: Degree Minimum Experience (Type and Duration) • Minimum: 4 years experience in Power or Desalination Plant operations\nPreferred: Experience in the Middle East\nRequired Skills\nGeneral awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Management System principles\nKnowledge of waste identification, classification, and disposal\nKnowledge of emission monitoring• Knowledge of environmental and health impacts of chemicals used in the plant\nKnowledge of firefighting equipment\nKnowledge of PPE and safety equipment\nKnowledge of first aid measures\nGood understanding of power and water plant operational activities\nCommunication skills\nDesired Certification / Job-Specific Skills / Training\nISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 awareness or working knowledge
