position is responsible for developing and implementing the Project’s HSSE management plans, systems and processes to ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements and good practices; Management.\nContributing toHSSE management of Project company\nEnsure the safety, health and environmental responsibility of the Company’s personal, office facilities and business activities\nProject HSSE management during Construction phase\nDevelopment and Implementation of the Project HSE Risk management system based on ISO 14001 and ACWA Power’s guidelines\nFormulating, advising, implementing and monitoring contractor and construction HSE management activities for the project.\nContinuously monitoring and intervening to enable and ensure EPC Contractor’s compliance with the EPC contract’s HSE management obligations and to avoid harm.\nReviewing EPC contractor’s method statements, risk assessments and other HSE related documents for adequacy and compliance with the EPC contract, Project HSE Management Plan and good practices,\nFormulating, advising, implementing and monitoring contractor and construction HSE management activities for the project.\nEnsuring an effective HSE communication plan for the project including periodic HSE committee meetings.\nEstablishing and advising Project Team on HSE management structures within the project and other forums where other stakeholders are engaged on occupational health safety and environmental matters.\nMonitoring, evaluating, analysing and monthly reporting on project HSE management and performance and incident investigations\nInvestigate report and advise during incident investigation proceedings and recommend interventions to address areas of improvement arising out of the incident trends analysis.\nReviewing and reporting on the effectiveness of the HSE management system and HSE Management Plan for the project.\nConducting daily, weekly and monthly HSE inspections, auditing, and incident investigation to ensure compliance to the EPC contracts, legal and project requirements.\nSupporting Safety Recognition Awards and Promotional Programs and Disciplinary procedures established by the EPC Contractor\nDeveloping, implementing and maintaining an HSE observations and corrective action management process for the project.\nProviding an Occupational health and safety advisory service to Project team employees and contractors.\nReviewing and advising on risk assessments, risk profiles, reports and research data to provide management with solutions to problems and non-conformance.\nMonitoring, reviewing and testing project emergency and fire preparedness arrangements and resources\nCollection of environmental deviations and ensure identification, implementation of corrective actions\nProvide induction training to visitors and contractors/subcontractors\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications, Experience, Skills\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or above, majoring in Safety, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related fields.\nHSE certified auditor trained by a recognized institution;\nPossession of practical knowledge of PV/ wind project operation, equipment, practices, procedures, and applicable local HSE regulations, and consistent demonstration of a firm commitment to safety\nMinimum Experience:\n7+ years of relevant working experience in multicultural teams within the power/heavy industry/chemical/oil and gas processing industries\nMinimum Skills:\nDeep understanding of HSE management principles and practices during Construction phase of renewable projects;\nFamiliarity with applicable legal requirements in the country of work;\nMastery of hazard risk assessment methods and implementation of effective control measures;\nProficient in accident investigation skills, familiar with firefighting equipment knowledge, and mastery of first aid measures;\nCompetencies:\nCore
