No.\n\nResponsibility\n\n1\n\nAssigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs as per the direction of Maintenance Manager. Supervises and co-ordinates activities of maintenance staff. Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence related to work.\n\n2\n\nExecutes work order through CMMS (SAP) and co-ordinates with planning engineer for job completion and technical matters.\n\n3\n\nMaintain such communications and relations as are necessary to report on the status of matters requiring action and to ensure that corrective action is undertaken.\n\n4\n\nHelps Maintenance Manager in executing corrective and planned maintenance with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.\n\n5\n\nTo perform technical evaluation of quotations received from purchase department and recommend appropriate choice.\n\n6\n\nTo prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.\n\n7\n\nReview and recommend new maintenance procedures and work instructions.\n\n8\n\nSupervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of all personnel assigned to his area.\n\n9\n\nTo carry out any other duty assigned to him by the management from time to time.\n\n10\n\nEnsure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated.\n\n11\n\nImplement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs.\n\n12\n\nProvide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS.\n\n13\n\nReport IMS performance to the management periodically.\n\n14\n\nEnsure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities.\n\n15\n\nEnsure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions.\n\n16\n\nIdentify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.\n\n17\n\nCarry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees.\n\n18\n\nResponsible to ensure the compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements.\n\n19\n\nProvide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT Performance.\n\n20\n\nIdentification, documentation and control of hazards in assigned work area.\n\n21\n\nEnsure aspects identified are monitored and operational controls are followed.\n\n22\n\nReport deviations in Integrated Management System and identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n\n23\n\nReporting of emergencies and incidents and near misses.\n\n24\n\nEffective resource utilization.\n\n25\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nJob Specifications\n\nEducational\n\nDesired\n\nBachelor’s engineering degree (B.E) in Mechanical for four-year College or university.\n\nMinimum Experience\n(Type and duration)\n\nMinimum\n\n4-8 years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nPreferable\n\nMore than 8 years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nAwareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles\n Knowledge of applicable legal requirements\n Hazard Risk assessment\n Aspect Impact assessment\n Investigating skills\n Knowledge of spillage containment\n Knowledge of managing HSE emergencies\n Knowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste\nKnowledge of Emission Monitoring\nBe able to lead the maintenance group.\nExcellent communication skills in English Language\nComputer literate. Able to use Ms Outlook for correspondence.\nBe able to use SAP as end user.\n\nWork Condition\n\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. In high precarious places he may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or chemicals risk and electrical shock.
