Supervises and co-ordinates activities of maintenance staff. Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence related to work.\n2 Executes work order through CMMS (SAP) and co-ordinates with planning engineer for job completion and technical matters.\n3 Maintain such communications and relations as are necessary to report on the status of matters requiring action and to ensure that corrective action is undertaken.\n4 Helps Maintenance Manager in executing corrective and planned maintenance with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.\n5 To perform technical evaluation of quotations received from purchase department and recommend appropriate choice.\n6 To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.\n7 Review and recommend new maintenance procedures and work instructions.\n8 Supervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of all personnel assigned to his area.\n9 To carry out any other duty assigned to him by the management from time to time.\n10 Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated.\n11 Implement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs.\n12 Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS.\n13 Report IMS performance to the management periodically.\n14 Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities.\n15 Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions.\n16 Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.\n17 Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees.\n18 Responsible to ensure the compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements.\n19 Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT Performance.\n20 Identification, documentation and control of hazards in assigned work area.\n21 Ensure aspects identified are monitored and operational controls are followed.\n22 Report deviations in Integrated Management System and identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n23 Reporting of emergencies and incidents and near misses.\n24 Effective resource utilization.\n25 Perform other duties as assigned.\nJob Specifications\nEducational: Desired Bachelor’s engineering degree (B.E) in Mechanical for four-year College or university.\nMinimum Experience (Type and Duration)\nMinimum: 4-8 years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPreferable: More than 8 years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nRequired Skills\nAwareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles.\nKnowledge of applicable legal requirements.\nHazard Risk assessment.\nAspect Impact assessment.\nInvestigating skills.\nKnowledge of spillage containment.\nKnowledge of managing HSE emergencies.\nKnowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste.\nKnowledge of Emission Monitoring.\nBe able to lead the maintenance group.\nExcellent communication skills in English Language.\nComputer literate. Able to use Ms Outlook for correspondence.\nBe able to use SAP as end user.\nDesired Certification / Job Specific Skill / Training\nWork Condition\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.
