Collaborate with Maintenance team during the shift and ensure that any minor / major activities like commissioning and start-up activities are completed in a safe manner, as per the established plan. \nEnsure strict adherence to all relevant HSSE and permit to work system, instructions and controls and procedures are complied with so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.\nRelationship Management\nDevelop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal departments and external contractors while promptly attending to all critical technical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner. \nRepresent the plant in all technical meetings to handle any escalated technical matters, to ensure timely resolution of issues.\nSAP Administration\nAdminister SAP processes within the operations section and ensure adherence to SAP guidelines in all related aspects of annual and monthly planning, scheduling, data management such as breakdowns review, corrective maintenance notification, creating work orders and planning in order to ensure data/system integrity in line with NOMAC’s defined standards. \nEnsure all system documents are up to date in order to comply with NOMAC’s quality standards.\nHealth, Safety, Security & Environment\nMonitor the adherence to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed. \nEnsure that all accidents, incidents or near misses occurring during the shift are properly reported as per established procedures.\nManage an emergency during the shift as per the company emergency response plan until relieved by a higher authority, in order to ensure minimum impact of the hazard.\nPolicies, Processes, Systems & Procedures\nAdhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner. \nContinuous Improvement\nContributes to the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programs and projects in line with the organization’s standards. \nRelated Assignments\n Perform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.\nCOMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:\nNeeds to work closely with Operation Manager, Shift Supervisors, CCR Operators/ Engineers, Chief/shift Chemist, Planning Engineer, Maintenance Team, HSE Engineer, Purchaser, Storekeeper etc. \nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:\nMinimum Qualifications:\n A bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering. \nMinimum Experience:\n8 years’ experience in water desalination and power generation plants with 2 years of experience in a supervisory role. \nSkills:\nKnowledge of relevant plant equipment\nSAP working knowledge is preferred \nNew IMS system awareness/working knowledge is preferred\nProject Management \nMentoring, coaching and people management skills \nKnowledge of the operations in water desalination and power generation plants and of NOMAC operations\nStrong planning, organizing, and integration skills \nTeamwork and effective collaboration
