Our work helps customers solve complex testing challenges across applications such as powertrain development, battery and eMobility systems, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, emissions testing, data acquisition, and custom test cell integration.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, customer-facing engineering projects from order through customer acceptance. In this role, you will be the central point of coordination across customers, engineering, sales, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and in alignment with technical requirements.\nWhat You’ll Do\nManage multiple engineering and test system integration projects from point of sale through customer acceptance.\nServe as the primary customer contact for project scope, specifications, contractual requirements, schedule, budget, and change management.\nBuild and manage project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, resource needs, material requirements, and labor plans.\nMonitor project performance, costs, gross margin, risks, milestones, and deliverables; provide timely status updates and weekly reporting.\nCoordinate closely with engineering, sales, purchasing, production, vendors, and subcontractors to keep projects moving and resolve issues quickly.\nSupport proposal and estimating activities by defining milestones, clarifying requirements, identifying scope and risk, and partnering with engineering teams to develop material and labor estimates.\nWork with customers and sales engineers to confirm technical scope, project requirements, and special deliverables for customer proposals.\nMaintain accurate project, estimate, specification, and change documentation in the appropriate systems and archives.\nTravel periodically to customer sites to support project execution, review progress, and strengthen customer relationships.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nThe ideal candidate is a technically strong project leader who enjoys working directly with customers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and bringing complex engineering solutions to life. You should be comfortable balancing technical requirements, business priorities, schedules, budgets, and customer expectations.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least five years of related test facility engineering design experience, including at least two years of electronics systems integration or test facility construction project management experience; or a master’s degree in Engineering with at least two years of engineering design experience, including at least one year of test facility construction or electronics systems integration project management experience.\nStrong technical foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering concepts, data acquisition systems, electronics, instrumentation, and test system design.\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving customers, internal technical teams, vendors, subcontractors, schedule constraints, budget expectations, and technical deliverables.\nStrong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.\nSelf-motivated, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of project outcomes.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or similar project planning tools.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP certification, CAP certification, or other relevant project management or automation credentials.\nExperience with powertrain testing, dynamometers, fuel systems, test applications, or test equipment integration.\nWorking knowledge of construction management and project scheduling.\nExperience with vehicle electrification technologies, including batteries, battery management systems, electric motors, or eMobility test applications.\nKnowledge of EPA test procedures, emissions equipment, or regulated test environments.\nFamiliarity with electrical codes and standards such as NFPA, IEC, IEEE, or UL.\nWhy Join A&D Technology?\nWork on advanced test and automation solutions that support the future of mobility, electrification, energy, defense, aerospace, and transportation technology.\nPartner with highly technical customers and internal experts to solve complex engineering and integration challenges.\nLead visible, high-impact projects where your planning, communication, and technical judgment directly influence customer success.\nJoin a company known for custom integration, responsive support, and practical engineering solutions tailored to each customer’s testing environment.\nTravel and Work Requirements\nThis role requires a moderate level of travel to customer sites.
